The posting order for the clans is WINDCLAN, RIVERCLAN, THUNDERCLAN, and SHADOWCLAN. The leaders must post first before anyone else may, and all cats from the clans are allowed to post.
Leaders must post, as must Deputies and Medicine Cats.

The air flowed free and smoothly across the ground and trees. The sky was clear except for a few looming clouds overhead. Those clouds would determine how tense the gathering that was about to take place could get, and every cat would look to them if tempers flared. Birds wings could be heard as the sound of a panicked flight rang through the forest. Perhaps they were running from the large force of cats. In the lead was a light weighted yet very strong tortie with green eyes, and a determined and steady look about him. Keeping a constant and dast pace he raced ahead of the others behind him, Windclan. Darkstar had been to this sacred place many times before, and he would see it many more. Each time something was diffrent, and if they were lucky it would be a peaceful meeting. Darkstar would have to announce the passing of Cascadingfur, and the acceptance of Crimsonminded the new deputy of Windclan. He would have to make it appoint to mention that Windclan would still be as strong as ever eventhough they had lost a valued warrior.
Nearing the clearing to Four Trees he slowed down. Being Windclan had its advantages, and his warriors should not have gotten tired from such a run. Anyone whom he caught slacking or short of breath tonight would make up for it in training tomorrow. He looked forward to spending time with friends from the other clans, and he hoped his warriors understood the importance of knowing others in diffrent clans. Of course he had to make sure no one got to friendly afterall you had to be loyal to Windclan first and foremost as per the code. Darkstar bowed low close to the long grass at the egde of Four Trees. He scented the air, and realized that they were the first to get there. As tradition, he lifted his tail in signal so they may all enter at once marking them as a clan. He sat close to the High Rocks waiting a good conversation, or for another clan to arrive.
The clouds portrayed no foul omens for the time being, and it helped him to relax more. The last thing any clan needed was a battle. In his opinion it often did more harm then good. Not like he had never caused a fight, but it was never without good reason. Darkstar couldn`t help wondering what news the other clans would divulge tonight,

RiVER c l a n
>> She appeared from the darkness of the trees, her faint silvery white bodice seeming to practically glow in the cold wash of moonlight which poured down from the inky night sky, dappled with silvery specks of ancestor cats. Small, crystallized droplets of water seemed to dapple her pelt in a shimmering fashion, and with a quick shake they all went flying off into the shadows of the place. Her sable paws, tail, ears and mask seemed to blend into the darkness about her, which made her white bodice look oddly disjointed and blinding. With a graceful flick of the tail more bodies of cats, smelling strongly of water and fish, mud and sand, started moving forward from the cradle of trees which held the clearing in an empty circular shape.
>> RiverClan cats were generally the independent ones, graceful and prideful. Certainly, they were confident in themselves. They prided themselves on being the Clan that didn't fear water. Independence was something that wasn't as important as creating alliances though, Froststar seemed to think. She wasn't anti-social or rude or impudent, and though she wasn't as open-minded she certainly wasn't arrogant when it came to Gatherings or when she was with her Clan. Giving another twitch of the blackened tip of her tail the leader went into a fluid, quick pace in the direction of the High Rocks, where she could see that the WindClan leader Darkstar had positioned himself.
>> "Hello Darkstar. It's a pleasure to see you tonight, since it is seldom that I see you anyplace else." Froststar mewed in greeting, dipping her head slightly. Her voice was rather soft and fluid, like a brook, yet it had a certain powerful quality to it. When she rose her head again her icy blue eyes shimmered against the blackness of her mask, becoming all the more bright and clearer than normal. That black mask made it easy for cats to think that she always had an emotionless mask on, yet her pale, crystal eyes glowed with sure politeness and pleasure. It wasn't often she got to see the other leaders, and generally when she did and it wasn't the time of the Gathering, relationships were strained and bloody.

THUNDER CLAN // the cats go marching two by two, hurrah, hurrah[/blockquote] that time of month already, was it? time sure did seem to fly by fast. indeed, it didn't seem all that long ago that he'd been pronounced leader -- which really, it wasn't -- but since then things had sped by further. it seemed he was cut out for the role. the responsibilities came easily to him as they always had, and once he'd gotten used to the work involved he's become quite acquainted with the position that he held. not that he was greedy. his ambitions weren't for the sake of power but for the ever-cheesy name of justice. he just wanted to do his best to keep his clan going strong and steady. so far, it seemed he was doing a fair job at it, too.
the wind tugged gently at the budding trees and rustled their soft green leaves in a refreshing sort of way. the sound, it was thunderclan in newleaf. somewhere off in the distance, an owl cooed in rhythm to the pawsteps of the swiftly traveling cats. as much as they might like to take their time on a warming night, there was no such option. as it was, the clan might already be pushing it on time. and their leader had no intentions of claiming the title of "last to arrive" for the span of the next moon. that wouldn't do at all.
finally the black tom saw their destination in the trees, and as was custom he flicked his tail and his his clan gather up just behind him. no, they weren't last to arrive; there was no detectable shadowclan scent down below. flamestar waited just a moment longer before flicking his tail again, and the masses swept down to fourtrees. while his clan dispersed to meet up with acquaintances from across borders, he made a beeline for the four trees themselves; one swift jump and he was atop his designated branch, swiping his tongue once across a white forepaw before turning his black gaze on the two cats who had already started conversation.
"good evening darkstar, froststar." he meowed politely with a flash of a smile, nodding at each of hem in turn. sure, he always kept up his guard at these events, but he was a cat who could do that but still look as laid back as if he'd just woken up from a nap in his own den back at camp. "all's well with you both, i hope?" [/blockquote]

Excitement was practically radiating off the ginger she-cat as she padded behind her mentor. She had been waiting all month for this, and it had finally come.. her first gathering! She did her best to remain calm and composed, though inside she was jumping for joy. She was really anxious to meet, warriors, apprentices and especially medicine cats and their apprentices, from other clans! She paused for a second as Darkstar stepped into the clearing. As he lifted his tail it was all she could do to not bound ahead of the group, though she didn't pick her pace up slightly so she was instep with Sleetwhisper. Her face fell slightly as she realized no other cats were there yet. But her spirits lifted once the other leaders arrived.. leaders meant other clan cats.

S H A D O W clan clan clan clan clan clan clan clan clan clan xx. of all the things i still remember, summers never looked
a single emerald eye flickered as she parted the shadowy brush around the clearing. a tuxedo she was; beautiful, but deadly. she had been chosen for that. it took her several moments to get through the sea of cats. and each time she touched another cat, she scowled unhappily. with the bright gaze of a strong cat, her muscles rippled underneath that beautiful pelt, and she landed perfectly on all four paws on the stone. xx. the same. years go by and time just seems to fly. but theshe heard a spine tingling scream in the night air, but when she glanced around that no one else had heard it. she remembered where it had come from now. a memory. she shoved her thoughts away as she glanced toward the other leaders. they were not her fellow leaders. she was not their friend, and nor were they hers. she said no greetings and sat at the edge of the rock. xx. memories remain. in the middle of september we stillshe glared down at the cats beneath her. she could see them, but she was certain that they couldn't see her. they were too busy with there conversations. she noted each of the warriors and apprentices in her clan silently, before moving onto Riverclan, then Windclan, and finally Thunderclan. her left eye was scarred over and the skin was pink and scarred over. xx. play out in the rain. nothin' to lose but everything to gain. her ivory claws scrapped loudly into the stone, causing it to scream in protest with the contact. she smirked as she glared down at the stone. she noted toxicbite's eyes on her, as well as spiderpaw's. she glared back menacingly as she watched them before they both turned away. with a snarl, she rose and stretched her long limbs. her tail flicked back and forth. xx. reflecting now on how things couldve been. it was worthat last she noticed the leaders again. almost unwillingly. but she didn't speak. she didn't wish to. not to them or anyone for that matter. the other clans mattered nothing to her. it was only shadowclan that mattered. but she had this clan forced upon her. with a growl, she sighed and turned away. maybe they will just disappear.it in the end. xx. BIRCH claw..
xx. Birchclaw scented eagerly. He could smell the warm bodies of the other clans. Although he had no friends in the other clans and liked no one else he still loved the excitement of being close to cats he would soon fight. He had been plotting a way to get back at his stupid leader. I will make his precious little clan pay. Even if it kills me. He mused; a hiss tipping his tongue.
xx. He fell into step with his clan racing down the side of the clearing; towards the gathering place. Yowls rose up from the cats of WINDCLAN all around him and he happily joined in; enjoying the wind pressing back his long white whiskers and the feel of his light gray paws sinking into the moist ground. This was the way he loved to be. He stood a fair 2 heads above the rest of his clan and none of the other clan had seen him since he grew. He was wild and free now. He was bigger than any of them and he was excited to see the timid faces that always caught his eye and stared in astonishment at his height, his build and the shape of his face and body. He looked like an escaped lion ready to take the life of those who stood in his path.
xx. Coming to a stop at the base of the rock he began to mingle. Large scared eyes caught his. His dark muddy orbs scanned the growing stream of smaller bodies that squirmed and writhed around him; though strangely enough none of them touched him. He felt as though maybe they were scared. He rarely noticed any longer because his clan was used to him. Maybe my size is intimidating. He thought.
xx. SILVER moon..
xx. Hissing a silent curse as she tripped over a small bracken patch she swiftly followed her clans decent into the gathering area. Many meows and hisses rose as RIVERCLAN charged lithely to the center clearing. Slightly out of breath she skidding to a halt and glanced around looking for friends of other clans. Not finding any she padded slowly; taking her time to a nearby tree, to rest up for the leaders speaking. This time something good will come of a gathering. She hoped anyway.
xx. She watched as Flutterstar, the Shadowclan leader hopped agilely onto the big rock and stared disgustedly at the other cats around her. What in Starclan's name is HER problem?
She pondered the thought as she watched apprentices at their first gatherings prance about mightily. Showing they were good enough, they were strong enough to be allowed to such a sacred place. She sat, wrapping her silver tail about her feet, her piercing blue orbs clipping in and out of the moving cats, and she thought back to her first gathering; a good memory for her. xx. NIGHT storm.. xx. Making no sound at all she followed suit of her leader. Her silence forever-lasting she bounded quickly, keeping good pace with Flutterstar. She observed her leaders tuxedo pelt, a good color for the SHADOWCLAN leader. It was quite beautiful but as she examined often so was her own. Some of the male cats stared at her. Am I beautiful? She wondered. Shaking her slim body free of nonsense thoughts she continued to scan her leader. Flutterstar's one eye, her always grim face, her unhappiness in her ranking in the clan and her beautiful features. Why was it Flutter hated being leader so much? Why was it she acted this way? Nightstorm pondered in her head. Her thoughts often wandered and jumped in such ways and she shook her bengal body, her slim figure quivering with the effort of running and focusing all at once. Her white-gray paws moved in a blur beneath her and she observed them momentarily before concerning herself with their fall into the gathering.
xx. She had no friends in other clans so she worry not about socialization and she didn't talk anyway so their was no reason for her to immerse herself in the chaos that was a gathering. She followed her leaders bunches muscles and running figure to the rock and as her leader jumped gracefully upwards onto the rock she took her place at the base and waited for the other cats to settle and the leaders to calm them. The other deputies would claim their places also and soon the gathering would begin. In her wait she sat and twitched her gray whiskers slightly, curling her striped white and black tail around her front paws and watching the havoc occur with her teal orbs.

~Brightstream~
Brightstream fell in beside her Clan, Windclan, as they rushed through the undergrowth and emerged into the sacred clearing of Four-Trees. She padded along the edge of the clearing before sitting down beside a few of her Clanmates. It had never ceased to amazed at the beauty and mystery of this sacred place. She always felt that they were being watched by other beings besides the Clan cats. But she tended to shed this aside, for it kind of creeped her out.
It wasn't long before the other Clans arrived. The creamy-yellow she-cat still sat as she watched the cats from her Clan mingled with those from the others. It wasn't that she was antisocial, but instead was a bit shy. She never felt comfortable being around so many cats at once. Though she still loves to go at Gatherings to hear the news from other Clans and even meet other cats. But because of her shyness, she was always uncomfortable of starting a conversation first.
As she looked through the crowd, she noticed a blue-gray and silver she-cat sitting by herself not too far away. Brightstream began to feel tired of sitting by herself and not talking to anyone, so she stood up a slowly padded towards the she-cat. As she drew nearer, the scent of water and fish touched her noise. 'RiverClan, huh?' She wrinkled her noise in disgust, but she recomposed herself. Her Clan bordered RiverClan and she patrols there almost every day, so she's more used to the smell than others. Besides, she did not want to show disrespect before even meeting this warrior.
Brightstream now stood in front of the she-cat. She can't recall ever seeing her at a Gathering, but she may have seen her while patrolling. "Um, hi there," She mewed a little shyly, "My name is Brightstream..of Windclan. Do you mind if I sit here?" She flicked her white-tipped tail at a spot close to the RiverClan she-cat.
~Siritgaze~
Bright glowing eyes pierced through the shadows of the undergrowth, as a silver-and-black cat gazed out in the clearing in front of him. Most of his Clan, RiverClan, have already gone ahead of him and are chatting and mingling with those from the other Clans. Not Spiritgaze, at least not yet. He always liked to be in the shadows before making a grand entrance in the moonlit clearing. He has a unique pelt; in the moonlight, it would start glowing, giving him the appearance of a spirit cat. Every Gathering that he has gone to, there was at least one cat who would stare at him in shock and/or horror.
The tom then heard a low moan next to him. He glanced down to see the small young apprentice, Nightpaw. He knew that she was scared, since this was her first Gathering. He smiled and began to purr encouragingly. "Don't worry, everyone's always nervous at their first Gathering. Just stay close to the other apprentices and you'll be fine." He then moved out of the shadows and into the moonlight.
He could feel the white glow from his pelt as he moved through the clearing. Several heads trued to stare at him in shock. But soon he noticed that most cats were staring off into a different direction. Following their gaze, Spiritgaze saw a brown tabby tom making his way through the clearing. But the white-and-black tom could immediately tell why these cats were staring at him. The tom was twice the size than most of the other cats. He recognized this tom from another Gathering, he was Windclan but Spiritgaze couldn't remember his name right now, which was odd for him. So, Windclanner, you and I are somewhat alike when it comes to cats staring, He thought as he sat down near the Great Rock, Except my pelt glows and your a large brute.
He didn't mind the Windclan tom getting the attention. In fact, he was kind of glad to not stared at here of the time being. He closed his eyes and listened to the conversations as he waited for someone to possibly approach him.
~Nightpaw~
The small, black-and-white tuxedo patterned she-cat stared in dismay as Spiritgaze left her behind on the edge of Four-Trees. Nightpaw didn't like to be alone, especially in a place she wasn't familiar with. She began padding the grown and staring around, not sure what to do.
She nearly jumped out of her fur when she felt a nudge on her side. She sharply turned her head to see a couple of her denmates. But before she could say anything, they had already passed her and headed to a group of apprentices. Thinking of what Spiritgaze said, she started to rush towards them.
There were about four or five, besides her own denmates, apprentices in this group. She scented the air and smell Windclan...maybe even Thunderclan? But the scents to her were all mixed up at the moment that she couldn't tell. The apprentices were too busy talking to notice her, so Nightpaw started gazing around her.
She glanced over at the Great Rock and saw all the Leaders. Since this was her first Gathering, she didn't know who the Leaders were, besides Froststar. She then noticed that once of the Leaders was at the far end of the Great Rock, barely visible from the shadows. But Nightpaw has good vision, so she can just make her out. "Why is she by herself?" She quietly thought out loud, Why isn't she talking to the other Leaders?

he said with a smile as he sat on his haunches near nightpaw. he still had the she-cat that he had incountered earlier outside of his camp. this was not her. her name had been ferretpaw. but she wasn't here. it was only him and this she-cat right now. his eyes twinkled as he continued to speak. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true] | [atrb=background,http://i44.tinypic.com/xqe6gn.jpg] Light tan fur faded in and out of the shadows of the clearing, like a flash of dust swept by the breeze. With that came the beige colouring, and a long tail that waved high in the air. Almost in a manner of authority. However this tom held no authority over anyone in any clan. Oh, perhaps he did. For most warriors typically listened to a medicine cat. And Beigeheart was no exception to this. Many a times, his clan mates, even those far superior than himself, had obeyed his orders without question. Which was much more than a tom such as himself would have ever expected. The sandy furred tom was no other than the ThunderClan medicine cat, named 'beige' for his beige and tan colouring, and heart, for his clear heart.
"What a snob,"
He snorted, looking straight at the ShadowClan leader who was sitting apart from the rest of the cats as though they were nothing but empty souls. He never could understand ShadowClan. Did they think they were the only cats with lives and feelings? Beigeheart shook his head, and turned away to pad into the crowd. Yet again, as he looked around, he felt very left out from the rest of the crowd. While they were all enjoying themselves, talking and sharing tongues, he realized he hardly knew a single cat here. Whenever he had come to the gathering before he had always stayed off, usually with the other medicine cats. And because he never went on patrols or fought in battles, he knew not any cat here.
He felt oddly reluctant to go into the fray, and, with almost a sorrowful face, he turned to pad over to the grassy spot where the Medicine Cats usually waited. He looked around, wondering where his apprentice had gotten to. The young cat was probably off looking for cats to speak with. Beigeheart's whiskers twitched. He felt unusually alone, and he raised his head to stare up at the star speckled sky. The moon was shining brightly, and it looked as though it would be a long night. Then on, he looked at Flamestar, wondering what the leaders were discussing atop the great rock. Well, three of the leaders anyways.

Flameclaw
Flameclaw padded into the clearing with the rest of her clanmates. She looked up at the big rock in the very center. The leaders were already here. Flameclaw took a seat with the rest of Thunderclan. The Riverclan cats sat near them. Flameclaw saw a white furred cat with icy eyes. She looked familiar, although Flameclaw could not recall meeting her. Then she remembered seeing the cat a few days ago, by the Riverclan border. Flameclaw narrowed her eyes. What was up?
Freezefang
Freezefang felt someone looking at her. She turned her head and saw that same oranged colored cat that she had seen a few days ago. Again she felt familiarity between them. Freezefang could not place her plaw where she had seen the cat. The cat was still looking at her. Freezefang decided to confront her. She approached the cat. "Hello," Freezefang said cooly. "I saw you a few days ago," she explained. The cat nodded, "Yeah. I'm Flameclaw." "Freezefang," she replied. Flameclaw looked back towards the rock. "We better be quiet, the meeting's about to start," she said. Freezefang nodded and the two reverted their attention back to the high rock.

.HAZELf i r e -- thunderclan >> She padded into the clearing, tangled in the mass of fur and flesh, basking in the scent of ThunderClan before the different, foreign smells combined, her nose twitching at the complexity of it. Slender and small, she squeezed her way easily past many different chatting cats, her pale cream-colored fur looked soft and out of place compared to these scarred and muscular warriors. She practically resembled a kittypet, though she wasn't one and didn't have a particular interest in living with twolegs.
>> Striking, smoldering amber eyes gazed out at the cats around her from the pale, pointed face of the she-cat and she let herself be pushed and moved around a bit until she finally found a small empty spot and sat down in the little area, sweeping her pale honey tail over her petite paws and biting her lip a bit; a nervous habit. She wasn't accustomed to being around so many cats, nor did she much like it. Hazelfire was an incredibly shy cat, and not exactly the most aggressive one in the world either.
.VAPORw i n d -- shadowclan >> He preferred to keep near the shadowy edge of the grasping trees rather than being in the thick mass of fangs and claws. A sliver of ghostly moonlight washed over his silver tabby flecked pelt, making a slip of the fur seemed to glow white. Piercing blue and green eyes stared out in a paranoid fashion over the crowd of cats and the lean tom's mouth turned down in a slight frown. He took a step forward as the cats from the trees started dwindling down and he took his rightful place at the very edge of the mass. >> He sat on the soft, paw-cuffed ground and let claws as sharp and narrow as needles carve their way into the soil. He looked like a warrior, or at least the ghost of one. Scars trailed endlessly over the pale silvery pelt gashes seemed to be ripped from shoulders and around his eyes. He would have been a handsome tom if not for the many battle wounds which probably just worked as an intimidation factor. Giving a soft growl as he watched his leader the tom let a small smile, bitter smile play along his lips. Leave it to ShadowClan to have the most hostile and bitter attitude. He felt a bit of pride welling up in his ribcage and seething his heart. Just because the ShadowClan leader didn't socialize with the others didn't mean that the Clan was disinterested or annoying, simply independent and prideful.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

xx|Crimsonminded Windclan|xx
Following shortly behind his leader, and in front of cats in his clan, the new deputy's long pelt shimmered in the light as they entered the clearing.
In the distance, he could scent the other clans arriving. The first he saw arrive, was Riverclan. He watched as their leader join his own, and following after Riverclan, was Thunderclan. He watched as their leader as well. He turned his gaze on the arriving cats, watching as the moonlight rippled on their pelts as they moved about, the light reflecting from the eyes of many colors. He spotted one familiar young cat he knew, Canopypaw. He rose from where he sat to go have a little chat with his aquaintence from other gatherings.
She was sitting off to the outer-side of the grouping cats, gazing at the sky. He approached at an even pace, as to not suprise her. "Hello, Canopypaw." He said in a cheerful, greeting voice.
xx|Canopywing Thunderclan|xx
The small, young calico wasn't much of a crowd-type. She preferred to stay in her own.. Bubble, so to say. She enjoyed the night, out in an open feild, being able to gaze at the night sky. She was snapped back to real time as she heard a familiar voice. She looked over to see a slim, but strong, long-haired cat she knew as Crimsonminded. "Its Canopywing now." She replied, blinking. She still seemed small to be a warrior, she would understand how he could still mistake her as an apprentice.

G H O S T s p i r i t ~x --deputy of Riverclan-- The bright beams of moonlight poured into the clearing and the Gathering had begun. He followed closely behind Froststar, then made his way towards Freezefang. He remembered seeing her before at the river and battling a dog to protect her. He silently and subtly trotted over to the pure white she-cat and say next to her.
"Hello, Freezefang."
He noticed that he had interrupted her conversation with another cat. A flaming orange one that somewhat resembled Freezefang. Ghostspirit turned his head to the side curiously. Perhaps they were related? He had no idea. He remained sitting next to the white femme, and awaited a response from her. The pale brown and silvery tabby tom averted his cerulean gaze to where the leaders sat. He watched and waited for them to begin announcing the news, which would more than likely happen soon since every clan had gotten here. He imagined that all the news would be good for the most part and they would all be on their way, back to the camps. He actually wanted the gathering to be over with soon. The tom was rather tired and wanted to wake up early the next morning to go on a solo hunting trip. He yawned and began to clean his fur.

It was just like that, that cats came streaming in. All of different shapes, sizes, colors, and clans. Some already knew each other and some didn't. She, other than her clan mates, didn't know anyone. It was then she spotted a somewhat familiar face, Beigeheart whom she had met at the Medicine cat's gathering. He was sort of off by himself, looking kind of awkward and lonely. She walked up to him " Hello again Beigeheart" She mewed with a smile and a polite dip of her head. Her ear flicked as her attention was drawn away from him again momentarily too look around. Her ears perked slightly as she noticed a few warrior apprentices, no other medicine cats ones. Not even Beigeheart's. She would like to go talk to them, see if they were any different from WindClan apprentices, maybe make some new friends. But she'd feel awkward leaving Beigeheart here directly after just saying hi to him. Blue eyes turned back to the beige colored tom " How are you?" she asked politely with a slight tilt of her ginger head.
