x. the air whisped around her limbs like leaves in a birch tree. her black and white fur was long, and waved gently in the air. her pitch black eyes flickered with something dark, but seductive. she pushed her way through the reeds with elegance, and found herself on ThunderClan territory. she did nothing though, to return, or to go farther. it seemed she was just waiting for something.
x. "you better have not lied to me tawny..." she hissed under her breath, and returned to her looking. he black and white fur was like a pure twilight in this romantic pitch black night. the air was trembling with excitment. she clawed at the ground thoughtfully, drawing a strange symbol. the symbol her mother had been branded with.
x. "come along princess, we're almost there." a sweet voice whispered above her head. winter turned her head upwards to gaze at her beautiful tortoiseshell mother. big black cats reflected winter's self, showing the same big black eyes on her black face. winter smiled gently at her mother. "alright. i'm excited to meet father." the tortoiseshell's smile faded, only replaced with hate for a split second, and she turned to stare forward. winter blinked. that hate always flickered in her mothers eyes when she saw her and her two brothers.
x. "mother! mother where are you!" winter screeched loudly, calling out for tawny. she wasn't anywhere. and thistle and bracken were gone too. the rain was pouring hard on her, and it ran up to her belly on the ground. she gasped, and ran for higher ground, fighting the current. she pushed herself into a small den, and closed her eyes tightly, whispering her mother's name over and over again. then the rank breath of fox hit her like a storm, as a loud growl shattered her being. she lurched forward, and ran away, trying her hardest to push. she had to run faster than death.
x. winter stared at nothing, felt nothing. her belly's hurt gone now, dulled by the pulsing of her life leaving her limbs. she heard faint voices, but they were drowned out by the soft roar of water. she gasped, as she was lifted from the barren earth on the ground, and carried away to somewhere better. as she was taken away, on what she thought was the road to heaven, she promised herself something. to hate forever. and to never love.
x. winterfeather gasped, trembling with the memory. she trembled, and began to blink quickly. the memory gone in a moment. she had just imagined it. she was sure of it. she returned to her waiting, for whatever might change her life.
