A creamy-yellow she-cat climbed up the hilly slope. There were flowers everywhere around her of all sorts of colors. Even though New-leaf came late - and when it did came, it brought a great deal of heat with it - it didn't seemed to have slowed the coming of grass and plants. The she-cat finally reached the top of the slope and stared a vast meadow before her.
It's so beautiful Brightstream thought, looking down at all of the full-bloom flowers and the rich green grass waving in the breeze. She then glanced over at the RiverClan border nearby. The brush on RiverClan's side was also lush and green. She swiveled her ears in the direction of the river. The swish, bubbling noises told her that the river slightly overflowed, but not too much that it'll drown the territories. Everything had grown green and beautiful this year. She would even go so far as to think that ShadowClan also had much greenery in thier territory, too.
She then realized something was amiss, the cat whom she was traveling with was gone. She glanced all around, trying to locate her friend and now the new medicine cat, Lilyfall. She had accompanied her to gather herbs, now that everything has grown. But in her haste to get here, Brightstream must have left her behind at one point.
"Lilyfall? Where are you?" She called, starting to feel panic deep within her at not being able to spot her friend.
((I'm trying a new color for Brightstream. If it's too bothersome, just let me know))

" Coming Brightstream!" She called as she slowley made her way up the hill. The young medicine cat stopped, ear flicking as she looked out over the hill. " I need to stock up on poppy seeds and juniper berries...it wont hurt to get some marigold either..." She murmured. Poppy seeds for pain juniper berries...stomach aches.. marigold.. marigold marigold..infections! She sighed. She had just recently come back from receiving her medicine cat name. She was now Lillyfall, but was she ready to be? Whats even worse.. she didn't even dream of StarClan... Not even Sleetwhisper.. as she had hoped. Had their warrior ancestors not accepted her?
The she-cat shook her head, realizing how spaced out she must have looked. She smiled at her friend, trying to hide her fears behind a happy face, she wasn't sure if she'd fall for it or not. " I'll show you what they look like if you wanna help."

Brightstream turn in the direction of Lilyfall's voice and saw her climbing up the slope. When the medicine cat reached the top, the creamy-yellow she-cat padded over to her and gave her a greeting lick. "I'm so sorry that I abandoned you like that." She quickly mewed, lowering her head in apologize, " I didn't mean to. I guess that I...I don't know." Honestly, she didn't know why she ran ahead. Perhaps because she was eager to get there? She just didn't know.
Though Lilyfall didn't seemed to mind much, at least she thought. Then the ginger-and-white cat started listing off what she needed. Bightstream just stood there and blinked, confused. She never had a good memory of the herbs, especially the names. But as she watched Lilyfall closely, it seemed that she wasn't the only one having trouble. Brightstream had a feeling that she knew why. It wasn't that long ago that the former Medicine cat, Sleetwhisper passed away. It was all so sudden, out of nowhere. Luckily, one of the other medicine cats volunteer to do Lilyfall's ceremony to give her her second name. Brightstream could tell that the new medicine cat was struggling with both her mentor's death and the responsibilities of her new duty. She layed her tail on Lilyfall to comfort her.
After a heartbeat or so, Brightstream padded over to the plants, looking over her shoulder and back at Lilyfall, inviting her to come over. "So we're looking for Poppies, marigold, and...juniper...right"? She asked, hoping she said them all right. I know what poppy seeds are. But I don't know the others" She shrug her shoulders in an apologetic way.

x. his tiny paws skittered the ground with little ease, his new, but already strong muscles pumping beneath his fur. and he did stand out. his bright white fur glistened like a pile of snow in the sunlight. his large amber eyes flickered from side to side, blinking once. he smelled fish, and cats. no marsh like before on his father's territorial home, but still. fish sounded good. his soft pads were beginning to grow caked with mud as he found his way to the river on his mother's territory. he peaked through the reeds, and down into the beautiful water, as it bubbled, churned and the sun twinkled like stars on it's coat. he giggled, splashing his paw into the water, making a few fish at the bottom swim away, and droplets of water grew airborn into the sky. he laughed, and jumped into the water. what he didnt plan on was how deep it was. his body shot under the water, and he began to thrash his limbs. he felt water pushing in on himself, but he didn't give up. he did as his mother had taught him, to move his limbs like he was running. and he did so. he broke the surface a few moments after, and pulled himself onto the bank, gasping for air. he trembled, as he grew full of terror as he heard a riverclan patrol. he couldnt be found by them. because of what he was inside. he raced onto windclan territory, hiding into a small rabbit den that was close to the surface, and big enough only to hold him. the juniper above him rattled dimly from his rush under it, and a few tufts of his fur lay logged into it. he trembled. he wanted to go home.

While she waited for Lilyfall to answer, Brightstream gazed at all of the plants and berries around her. There were so many different kinds, it was hard for her to believe that any cat could remember what was what. Then, a bush covered with berries((BTW, I don't know what juniper berries look like in rl)) caught her eye. She stared at the colored berries, remembering seeing something like them in the medicine cat's den when she went to see Lilyfall earlier today. Or did she? To Brightstream, most berries looked the same. The only ones she knew the look and name of were deathberries, a deadly berry which all young kits were taught to stay away from.
Hey, Lilyfall, are these the berries you're looking for?" The creamy-yellow she-cat asked as she padded closer to the bush. She could take the berries off right now, but she wanted to make sure they were the right kind. Then, she noticed something sticking on he branches. Moving closer, she could make out what look like white fur, stuck on the lower branches of the bush. But they looked wet and even had the scent of the river on them.
Did this come from a rabbit? She wondered, though white rabbits were a very rare sight, and it didn't make sense for one to go so close to the river. She moved her paw forward to try to get a better look. But when she set her paw down, it went farther down into a hole. She let out a yelp of surprise as her body fell forward into the bush. She landed on the ground with leaves and twigs sticking to her fur. She leaned back and pulled her foot out then stared at the hole. There were fresh little claw marks outside and the smell of wet fur was strong.
Brightstream put her head in front of the opening and tried to peer in. Perhaps it's still in there. Even though it was futile to try to get prey from inside their burrow, she had never seen a white pelted rabbit and wanted to see it. As her eyes adjusted, she could just make out a small white figure inside. But as she gazed at it, it didn't look like a rabbit and another drifted off its fur. A very familiar scent. She let out a gasp.
"Lilyfall!" She called, surprise and urgency in her voice. She quickly lifted her head, wincing when she hit her head through the thin branches. She turned and stared at the medicine cat, panic in her eyes. "ther-there's a k-kit in here! In a hole! I-I can't reach it!" She began kneading the ground, unsure of what to do as panic began to enfold her.
