xx. the patter or rain against the light canopy above it's head was loud as the rain fell heavier from the sky. there was silence in the forest other than that. the little creatures were hiding away in their burrows and away from the storm. they hid and she was left alone to walk the quiet world. she knew all the other cats would be back in camp in the warriors den when she returned. but none would notice her... they never did. she was just a loner at heart. she didn't want to be; but had been created that way in this world. that was the way it went. you be what you are or live a lie for what you aren't. she was still living a lie... and no one would know.
xx. the patter of rain became louder and began to fall through the leaves. her pelt became damp but she didn't care. sparkflight was lost in her own world at this moment. everything seemed rather perfect. despite the fact of being alone. her worst fear had been concurred. she had the strength to live with being alone... but now the rest of her was screaming not to be. with a few tears and a painful sigh she laid in the mud of the ground. she hid her beautiful ginger pelt from unwanted eyes and just laid there. she thought and she thought but nothing came to mind on what she would do with her lonely feelings. with a faint sigh she closed her eyes. someone will stumble along. i hope...

.h o l l o w >> His snow and dust fur was matted to his lean, wiry body. The rain soaked to his ashen skin and he suppressed a slight shiver, muscles rippling to a tense position as he gazed out imperiously over the landscape. It probably would've been smarter for him to go and take shelter under the trees at a sooner time instead of waiting for the clouds to pour down when he was still wandering in a more open area. Giving a slight grunt of annoyance at his own stupidity Hollowheart proceeded to move through the trees, rain still dabbling down onto his pelt but at least it wasn't nearly as much water anymore. As much as he loved water, he preferred it when he was swimming or in the daytime. Not in the dead of night.
>> Leaves rustled as they brushed along his damp pelt and when he finally entered a smaller clearing in between several trees he let out a powerful shake as rain droplets splattered away from his fur. Pale, practically glowing green eyes surveyed the scene and he noted with annoyance that it would take some time for the rain to stop. At the moment he wasn't so keen on getting so wet. Then another cat's scent caught his attention and the tom looked around, ringed tail curling and a faint snarl rising to his sable lips.
>> Then he heard the faint voice of a cat, though he couldn't understand all of the words as the patter of rain was still rich in his eardrums. "Is anyone there?" Hollowheart growled faintly, padding toward the direction of the voice, jade eyes flashing.

xx. the mud began to soak in and chill her to the bone. but she didn't move. she didn't try. her lame leg had become more and more of a hassle; but she wouldn't let it stop her from being a warrior. she had dreamed about this all her life and had always wanted to be a warrior. but now that she was she never thought it could be any harder. her pale violet eyes glistened as she watched an ashen tom approach her place. she didn't answer his question at first and she couldn't. she couldn't admit she was weaker than anyone else. i can't fight and i can't hunt. my mother doesnt remember me and i'm a warrior. all i'm good for is standing around. no one knows about my leg... not even my mother any more. when she had been born she was born with a bad leg. she had no control over it but over time it strengthened but she should have never been a warrior. her muscles would spasm if she stood on it too long and then it would give way and she couldn't use it any longer. she hated that the most about having a lame leg. that was why she was laying in the mud now.
xx. if she wanted help she would have asked for it. her ginger pelt was hidden by the mud; giving her a rather ugly appearance to her. she stretched her muscles sighed miserably. i'm here.
she said quietly; raising her mud covered head making it seem heavy and she was reduced to a whimper. who are you? she asked quietly as her pale violet eyes gazed at him. she blinked her eyes before sighing miserably. a defeated gaze made her eyes glaze over as she laid her head on her paws. what are you doing here? she was asking herself but realized she said it out loud so she would have to deal with his answer as well. .h o l l o w >> Upon hearing the voice again the tom perked his ears and made his way over to the miserable sounding cat. At first he couldn't see the creature but upon blinking the pale orbs several times he noticed that the cat, a she-cat, was covered in mud. He let out a little grunt, perhaps annoyance or perhaps it reflected no emotion at all. Staring down at the cat all he could really see were the light violet eyes, while everything else seemed to be plastered in dirt and mud.
>> "Well someone is certainly a master at hiding themselves," snorted the white tom, "and to answer your question, my name is Hollowheart. I hope that I may ask you the same question?" His light jade eyes flickered and a steady drip from the canopy above splashed onto his ashen coat, giving a slightly severe appearance with all of his hair clinging to his lean, wiry frame.
>> "Also I'm here because I was looking for solitude," Hollowheart growled softly, an almost amused tone edging his rough voice, "however I can't guess what you're here for, or why you're in this situation. Now, do you want help or not?" The tom now sat down next to the muddied she-cat, curling his tail around his paws, small ivory claws poking out underneath.

xx. her pale eyes flickered toward him as he spoke and her pelt itched underneath the dried on mud. she growled to herself and closed her eyes; becoming completely invisible against the mud. wasn't meant to hide. it was too muddy when i first laid down to the point where i couldn't lay without being covered.
only a parcel lie. how would he know anyway? he wouldn't. her ginger pelt was hidden perfectly now as she lifted her head and shook a little mud from her pelt allowing the ginger around her face and neck to be seen. my name is sparkflight. she answered; ears pricked forward as she watched him with her pale violet eyes. xx. her tail flicked back and forth in the mud as she attempted to push herself to her paws; and hardly succeeded to push herself onto her haunches instead. she would live with that. her left hind leg was slowly shaking in protest but it would have to deal with it. i am here for the same... solitude and a chance to think. i... dont think i need help. she tried to sound confident when she spoke about not needing help but her sentence altered itself as the words slipped between her lips. she curled her tail tightly around her body; noting how the rain loosened the mud and she busied herself scraping mud from her pelt as she waited for him to speak again. every few moments she would pause from her work and look at him with her intent pale violet eyes before turning her attention back to her distraught pelt.
