Brightstream
The creamy-yellow she-cat sat as she gazed around. At first she thought she heard a voice near her, but she wasn't paying it much attention. She was too busy watching the tension between the Leaders on Ivory Rock. Then the voice came louder, closer.
"Hey"
Brightstream turned her head and saw the RiverClan medicine cat standing next to her. Surprise, she dipped her head and mewed; "Hello, Frostsong. How are you doing? The question came out awkward. She found it odd that a medicine cat would be talking to her, a warrior, and not be with the other medicine cats. But she didn't mind all that much. In fact, if Frostsong started talking about herbs or other healing stuff, Brightstream would have a little knowledge at what she's saying, thanks to Lilyfall.
Where is she, anyway? She took a quick glance around, hoping to spot her friend. Her gaze then went over to the Leaders and stopped there. She let out a gasp at the sight. Flutterstar, the ShadowClan Leader, was poise to attack the RiverClan Leader, Ghoststar. "What is going on?" She whispered in shock and fear. Never before has the yellow WindClan she-cat been to a Gathering where a fight broke out. It was against the warrior code for something like that to happen.
Then she saw Adderstar joining the fight. She looked on as her Leader taunted the stench of the other Leaders. Her claws slid out and sank into the dirt. Oh, Adderstar. Please be careful! She feared for her Leader. Her Clan just recently lost their former Leader. They can't afford to lose another one so soon. Then Flutterstar turned and looked at Adderstar. Brightstream immediately leapt to her paws, fearing the worse. But then the ShadowClan leader did something instead.
maybe I was wrong about windclan. Adderstar seems to have more guts than you do.
Brightstream didn't like the way Flutterstar said that. To some it would have come across as a complement. But to the cream-yellow she-cat, it sounded both promising and deadly. She felt that something bad will come out of that one sentence. She still stood, preparing for anything to happen, while the Shadowclan Leader continued to provoke the RiverClan Leader. But she let out a sigh of relief when Ghoststar commented that this was a Gathering and no place to fight and he sat down. But Brightstream remained standing. She looked around, most of the RiverClan and ShadowClan cats were also standing, poise to attack by the looked of it. Even a few other Windclanners were also ready to fight. She took a quick glance at Frostsong, wondering what she thought of all this. Afterall, it was her Leader that was getting the sharp end of Flutterstar's tongue.

Adderstar watched the two other leaders bickering in front of her. The small cat crouched on the stone, claws sliding out and large eyes darting back and forth to catch the movements and expressions. She too had noticed Iceheart's affection for her leader. Perhaps she could do a little something. Instigate a fight and get a little revenge on the rude deputy. Waiting for Flutterstar to finish, the tabby striped calico stood up again, claws clicking on the Ivory Stone.
"You know, Ghoststar, I would never allow any cat to get away with comments like that." As she spoke Adderstar lightly brushed her pelt against Ghoststar's, yellow orbs eyeing Iceheart for her reaction. "You can't blame Flutterstar for saying what she did, if you remain so calm. Cats are bound to talk." The WindClan leader kept her voice light and conversational, her eyes seeming slightly innocent, except for the impish gleam in their very core. Her tone of voice suggested freindly advice, but the attempted result was chaos. Turning away and flicking her tail under Ghoststar's chin, Adderstar made a face to Flutterstar that silently voiced disgust. She didn't need the compliment from the ShadowClan leader, but she didn't want to lower her esteem in the black and white cat's eyes with one simple move of instigation

--skyseer-. -see the sky, see the stars. .all of this could be ours-- the windclan deputy sat more quietly than the others, her lip curled in a silent sneer. how pathetic. everything tonight, so pathetic. enforce your words, coward. fight! her ear flicked back in a quiet manner and listened to the quarrel. she silently applauded adderstar for her courage. skyseer was glad to serve a cat like that. she wasn't weak, she would prove the forest wrong! and.. was it indecent for the windclan deputy to feel so attracted to the shadowclan leader? they were rivals in clan-life, but she couldn't help but love how flutterstar spoke, how she carried herself.
a gust of wind spilled through the forest again, and skyseer tilted her head upward, looking toward the great full moon. it sat in the sky, like starclan's great eye..watching the gathering. stars gathered around it, her supposed warrior ancestors and her past clanmates. skyseer couldn't help but laugh bitterly. if that was true, maybe brightpaw was sitting up there. maybe that was where she went. she could already imagine the sweet voice saying how wrong the fighting was, saying how they should all just get along. she could imagine sitting with her at a gathering; two apprentices who were so clueless about life. she could remember feeling jealous of how the starlight reflected in her sister's blue eyes. back when aspects like that mattered.
her own amber eyes looked at the sky, studied it carefully. they were light, and golden, in their own brilliant way, but had specks of red flecking her too. up in the sky, stars flecked the black sky. clouds were waiting, looming like they might pounce on the moon. but the wind didn't appear to stir even the clouds. maybe starclan approved.
skyseer turned, and for the first time, grinned at iceheart, opening her mouth and running her tongue over her fangs. "i think your great leader is scared of her" her tail flicked against the great rock lightly, and she clawed the edge of it. she wondered if it was only her imagination revealing ghoststar's fear scent. "who is the small one now?"

[bg=264A00]make it end.
i feel it deep within. |
xx. it's just beneath the skin. flutterstar stood her ground; muscles tense as if she was ready to attack. but she was kind enough to wait for ghoststar's reply. she didn't react when she heard it, but rather just stood there; tail tip flicking behind her as her white paws moved from the pads to her toes. she would play with his mind. let him think she was going to attack this whole time. but something else made her want to hurt him and then take his first life. he is waiting for your attack. aggravate him and then attack. with only her thoughts to guide her; flutterstar turned away from him; as if completely uninterested in the leader. but the cat she had her emerald locked onto was very close to the leader. she was still interested. just now in a way of aggravating him before she took him on. she loved fighting an upset cat. that made the victory all the more sweet.
xx. i must confess that i feel like a monster. the silence in the air turned into a few gasps from other clans as she landed on the ground. but she didn't let her paws effect her... she didn't let the pain be made known anymore. she walked directly toward the riverclan deputy; sending the cat that she was having a conversation with a simple glare before growling lowly. they all knew what would happen now. ghoststar would pay for being disrespectful toward her. with watching the one he loved be pushed around as well as losing his first life. she growled at the female as she slammed herself into the cat; knocking it away from brightheart and forcing iceheart's attention to flutterstar. she glared at the creature with her heartless gaze and then she lifted her paw; and clawed at iceheart's face; directly at her eyes and before her paw had completely raked across the cat's face; she lunged.
xx. i hate what i've become. the tuxedo let her body slam into the cat as she shoved with all her weight. her teeth latched onto the femme's shoulder as she lashed her tail back and forth. she was trying to bait ghoststar into fighting her. she had a reason to go after the deputy for being disrespectful to not only her; but adderstar. wasn't her fault if adderstar didn't have the brains to defend herself. flutterstar did. and she was too upset to care about much more. she would be the one to start the fight, and most importantly, she would be the one to end it. her canine teeth snapped around the cat's shoulder as she ripped away as quickly as she could. she was attempting to avoid any attacks that came her way. she wanted to be the one to deliver them; not to receive them. she was only playing; making sure not to seriously wound the cat. it was not iceheart she wanted to hurt. she was a simple toy in the matter. she would wait for ghoststar to come to her aid. and if he didn't... well that would be a lesson learned for iceheart in the feature.
xx. the nightmare's just begun. but then the tuxedo stopped. her emerald was focused onto something off toward the edge of the clearing; but her body was still focused on iceheart; whom she had slammed to the ground. something was there. it wasn't something she knew really well. but there was... what she thought was a cat; standing there completely battered and torn apart. she was watching in intently; curiosity peaking. but then with a bloody scream; it collapsed and disappeared. another hallucination. she picked out as she spun back to iceheart; only this time much more distracted by what she had just imagined. she kicked the she-cat in the flank before moving away from her and turning her orb toward ghoststar. the silent game of physics and dares had begun. she was daring him to come down and finish what she had started... only it wouldn't be her to fall. it would be him.
xx. i must confess that i feel like a monster.the silence in the air made her close her eyes and start to chuckle cruelly. she opened her lungs to a breath of air and her sides bulged as she took it in. then she released it and her flanks returned to their thin selves. her head was still bent slightly toward the riverclan leader. she wanted to see him fight. wanted to fight him; but she wouldn't attack him without a reason. she had what she considered a reason for iceheart. she would wait for the other leader to attack. until then she would slowly inflict a little damage at a time to his deputy. the love was hard to miss. the way he was almost falling off the ivory stone attempting to find her; and the way he nearly did once he had. he wanted to meet with her but had decided against it because he knew it wouldn't be good for him to leave his post at a gathering. flutterstar had no respect for starclan or any other clan; and so had no problem leaping off the ivory stone to solve her own problems.

Spiritgaze
The white-and-black tabby sat there as he watched the tension unfolding before him. It was rare for a fight like this to break out during a Gathering. Yes, there has been arguing and tension, but hardly ever on this scale. Not only that, but the Gathering hasn't even officially started and ThunderClan isn't here yet. He glanced over at Iceheart. It was her first time here as Deputy and she had to open her mouth.
And to think, this all started because of you. He thought, his yellow eyes becoming slits. There was anger in him, but he was the kind of cat to not hold grudges against anyone, especially one of his own Clan. What he couldn't understand was why Ghoststar hadn't told her to keep quiet. Any other Leader would have done so. Does he really love her that much? If so, Spiritgaze dosen't know why the Leader would choose her to be Deputy. Wouldn't it make more sense for Ghoststar to not choose her? Then again, now as he thought about it, it wouldn't be the first time a Leader has chosen someone they love or care for to be the next Leader.
Then, while he was in his thoughts, a bunch of gasps and startled yowls worked their way into his mind. He came back to reality and was confused as to what was happening. Then he saw Flutterstar making her way over to Iceheart. What happened next shocked everyone, including him. The ShadowClan Leader attacked Iceheart! Spiritgaze stood on his paws, claws unsheathed, ready to leap to her aid. Even though he resented her for not thinking things out and for starting this, she was still his Clanmate and was in trouble. He would have gone to her side in an instance, but he had to wait for Ghoststar to give the order of attack, but never came. Is Ghoststar too much in shock to do anything? He took a quick glance at the sky. There were a few clouds near the moon. But the full moon still cast its bright glow on the clearing. Surly StarClan can't be allowing this to happen?
As quick as it started, the tussle was over. Flutterstar turned away from the Deputy and glared at Ghoststar. Must be challenging him Spiritgaze concluded, feeling the the Leader would meet the challenge. He'll have to be careful and plan out a strategy. I just hope anger won't get the best of him. Since Flutterstar wasn't paying attention to Iceheart, he decided to move to her side. He quickly and quietly made his way over to the RiverClan Deputy, trying not to have Flutterstar notice him. As he reached her he made a quick scan of her wounds. They didn't too deep, but he was no medicine cat. All he could do was place his paw on what looked like to be the worse of the wounds and hope to slow the bleeding. If the ShadowClan Leader decided to stop him, he would fight. He wasn't going to wait till Ghoststar gave the order. He knew Flutterstar wouldn't hesitate either.

The silver and brown tabby tom glared at Flutterstar. he followed her every move and when she jumped down from the Ivory Stone and headed towards his mate, an intense amount of anger and hate emerged. He had never been so enraged before. Especially when Flutterstar began bullying Iceheart. She pushed the lovely she-cat around and treated her horribly. She tossed her around like a cat playing with it's food. Ghoststar could not stand it. He couldn't sit here and watch the one he loved get hurt and taunted and pushed around. Iceheart needed to fight back. Ghoststar was a peacekeeping cat and he didn't want to break the Warrior Code. But, he would have to in order to defend his beloved. He gracefully leaped off of the Ivory Stone and ran at a breakneck pace towards Flutterstar and rammed his head into her side. He hissed furiously at the Shadowclan femme and was standing with his head lowered and his front legs far apart from each other. His hate-filled eyes glared intently at the she-cat. He had a sudden blood lust and wanted to murder Flutterstar. He wanted to be the reason for her downfall. He wanted to be the one who would kill her. His tail lashed back and forth and he waited for her to strike, a twisted smile poisoning his lips.

--skyseer-. -see the sky, see the stars. .all of this could be ours-- it was not her fight to fight, but skyseer tensed up as she watched, like she was ready to pounce. her wiry form bunched together, her eternally ruffled black-gray fur stood slightly, just over her shoulders. she could feel the tension of the night, like a storm about to break in the sky. the deputy took a step back from the quarrel. normally some thunderclan cat would intervene, with their holier-than-thou act. too bad thunderclan was not even present to try and portray the others as bloodthirsty monsters. this time they couldn't try to silence the other clans. and that made skyseer smile ever so slightly. fighting was natural, and starclan hadn't yet silenced the fight.
an older skyseer may have tried to stop the cats, but she saw no wrong here. iceheart had asked for it; iceheart deserved this. she'd insulted adderstar, and this was karma repaying her. and ghoststar! she'd love to see his heart be ripped out here tonight, mourning his dead lover. it was the perfect scene of tragedy! the she-cat wouldn't normally wish such a severity on any cat, but tonight, she embraced a darker side and grinned.
and so windclan's deputy looked to her leader, and then to the gathered cats. then her gaze went back to the fight.

[bg=lightgreen] walking beside the guilty and the innocent. flutterstar how will you raise your hand when they call your name?
xx. we weren't born to follow. flutterstar seemed to amused at the fact that the leader was watching her with hate filled eyes. she still had her silent dare plastered on her face. she had been a rather uncaring at the previous gathering. but now this gathering made all the difference. she was not afraid to fight. not afraid to back down. but when she hear the brute approach to help iceheart; she spun quickly and lunged at him. her jaws snapped at his frame and she growled a low warning. this isn't your fight. she snarled as she sliced across his muzzle with her long stained claws. then she shoved him away and roughly pushed iceheart away from him. then she looked up; noting how ghoststar was making his way across the ivory stone. but then he leaped and raced toward her at top speed. the smirk that touched her face turned into a cold grin.
xx. come on and get up off your knees. the clouds in the sky were slowly making their way toward the moon. slowly enough where the deed would be done before they reached the moon and covered it completely; leaving them in complete darkness. the trees began to rustle deep in the forest and suddenly a gust of wind burst through the clearing. the aroma of the other clans mixed as one and flew forward and flutterstar's fur fluffed to double her size. her tail began to lash. and then she was hit full force by ghoststar away from iceheart. but that was all she needed to fight back. the she-cat slid back in the dirt and rose quickly; her claws digging into the ground where she faced the other leader. her daring emerald changed from forbidding to a killing dagger. and her eye narrowed; pupil a small slit in contrast to the green. she saw the twisted grin and it only made her want to rip it off for him.
xx. when life is a bitter pill to swallow. muscles bunched beautifully underneath her fur as she stood there with the look of a deadly angel. her forepaws spread to the width of her shoulders and her hind paws stood the same length as she lowered her front half toward the ground. her tail curled around to nearly touching her flank. her emerald sparkled as she felt the tension around them as the cats in all the clans were preparing to watch the leaders fight. being the center of attention had not been her intention today. but it had happened. but she would live it as though it was planned. her life was under her control. she ran everything. the curtains opened and the show was about to begin. anyone who wasn't seated should have been. standing wouldn't be tolerated by this she-cat. she was a one cat show; but her duet was more beautiful. watching a cat fall at her paws was her favorite ending. let the show begin.
xx. you gotta hold onto what you believe. the only spot light that told where she was; was that of the moon. the stars were too dim. the clouds were glowing a ghostly white. she thought that was rather convenient. ghoststar... ghostly white... she shrugged at her own connection. she shifted her wait from foot to foot; watching ghoststar with her scary face. the left eye was scarred over; never to be seen again. but the right was perfect. still as beautiful as the day it had opened. but her pelt couldn't become better. the black was black as could be. her white was as bright as snow; except around her paws which had been stained a faint white from the blood that she had leaked along the ivory stone as well as in front of the stone. her tail lashed back and forth as she slowly rolled her weight onto her toes. then the dance began.
xx. believe that the sun will shine tomorrow. she bunched her muscles and leaped at the other cat. her claws snagged onto his pelt. she gave him a sickening smile as her body smashed into his; shoving him backwards at the throat. then she slammed him into the ground. before she had gotten a chance to pin him though; she felt as though something were happening around her. the wind had stilled again. the moon still shown. it was like the world had just died and it was only these two cats that could still move; could still breath. she loved this silent dance. the duet for two that only could be shared by enemies. but then she leaped away. she wanted to play with him. to injure him and at the same time to watch him feebly attempt to hurt her. were this an actual battle she would have killed him on the way of taking him down.
xx. and that your saints and sinners bleed. she watched the tabby as she walked circles around him; her muscles rippling beneath her pelt. it was as if she was daring another cat to step in and pass the time. but if they did; she had nothing to hold back from killing it. iceheart was a decoy. ghoststar was the the real target. anyone else would be a toy in the battle and be killed easily. her fur was ruffled on her chest and at her shoulders. the fur on the back of her neck laid flat. she was not as angry as she looked. she just wanted the chance to kill. to kill. her eyes flashed as she watched him on the ground. she snickered softly and flicked her ear toward the other cats. she sent them each a glare with her emerald before turning her attention back to ghoststar. she wanted to see him in pain. she wanted to watch him wriggle at her paws as he took the last breath of his first life. and he would. in a few short minutes; he would know what it felt like to lose a life.
xx. we weren't born to follow. she lunged again as the clouds drew closer to the moon. a roll of thunder arose from above. but her clan would not leave until she was done. and his clan wouldn't either. she snapped her jaws tightly around his neck and began to bite down as hard as it was physically possible. then she raked her claws down his stomach roughly. tufts of his fur clung to her claws as she snapped her jaws even tighter after moving then so they were at a better angle. her tail lashed back and forth as a flash of lightening and a louder roar of thunder crashed through the clearing. then the downpour began. her fur was soaked in minutes; but the faint sliver of the moon was still to be seen. right between the clouds. they were slowly folding over. but it was too late. the deed was almost done. the cold liquid sank farther into her pelt; chilling her to the bone as she dug her claws into his shoulders.
xx. you gotta stand up for what you believe. then she ripped away with her jaws still clamped. she smiled as the blood flow from his throat. she looked at him. she was waiting for him to rise. and to tease him and taunt him she bent over him; watching him. go ahead. we all know who is strongest.
|
she smirked at him. she wanted him to attempt to hurt her. she wanted him to cause her pain; only to give her something else to hold against him. go ahead. take a life. if you think you are strong enough. she snickered and turned her back to him before stalking away. he wouldn't touch her and in turn; she would leave him be for thie night. the rain watched the grass around him a scarlet. she flung mud from her paws at him and then smirked. she flung mud at him with a growl and she snickered again. she gave iceheart a cold glare and spoke. this was your own fault. remember to show some respect next time and maybe i'll let him keep his eighth life. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ears flicked back as the warily entered the clearing, finding the other Medicine cats and their apprentices and taking her seat by them. She shot a smile at Lightsky...but it was far from its usual radiance. The ginger she-cat was lost in her own little world.
It was so odd. with out Sleetwhisper... Everything was changing since he died, and it was changing fast... There was a new leader and a new deputy. Even more.. she had an apprentice now. A ginger tom by the name of Emberpaw...thing was he was 3 moons her senior.. and at having suddenly become a medicine cat at 13 moons. She wasn't quit sure how this happened.. but it did. It was all so much for the young she-cat.
It was then she was snapped out of her thoughts as the ShadowClan leader attacked the RiverClan deputy. almost as soon as the scrap started it was over.. it was then Ghoststar retaliated. He flew off towards the tuxedo she-cat and a small battle insued, ended up with Flutterstar ripping his throat. By then the rain had started to downpour as clouds covered the moon. A clap of thunder resounded.
Light blue eyes widened in horror, as she watched the scene unfold before her, but almost as quickly as it had started.. it was done. The she cat jumped to her feet and quickly ran over to the scene, oblivious to the fact the WindClan Medicine cat may not be too welcome.. when their leader and deputy had helped instigate the fight. He had definatley lost the life.. and something should be done abut his wounds before he lost more. Blue eyes turned to the retreating figure of Flutterstar " What have you done!?" StarClan, was not happy.. not at all... and something told her even more misfortune will be the result.

Adderstar was the only cat remaining on the Ivory Stone, enjoying a moment of height, literally. For once she was taller than any cat around. But that wasn't what caused her yellow eyes to shine with delight. No, Flutterstar had attacked Iceheart, which the WindClan leader hadn't wanted to do herself. She may be hateful, but she beleived in StarClan. Enough to make her wary of their wrath, anyways. It almost seemed as if the ShadowClan leader had read her mind and done her bidding, though Adderstar would never tell the black and white she-cat that. And then Ghoststar lost a life! Oh, what fun to watch, and the small leader didn't even have to lift a paw! But as soon as it was started it was over. A leader had lost a life at a gathering and StarClan hadn't protested.
Gleefully leaping down from from the stone at last Adderstar practically hopped toward the other two leaders. There was a spring in her step and a light in her eyes, and she seemed every bit the little devil character, the tiny imp. With mock concern Adderstar sniffed at the fatal wound in Ghoststar's neck then barely suppressed a giggle. Standing between the two leaders that were so much taller than her she mewed, in a sweet tone that lied of sugar and gum drops, "Well, what a series of unfortunate events. I wonder if ThunderClan will ever get here. What a sight they're in for, don't you agree?" She almost seemed too cheery for being in the middle of the tension after battle. Adderstar ignored he medicine cat. She could do whatever she saw fit. The leader also ignored Iceheart, silently vowing that she would one day kill the cat. A smug grin was plastered on the she-cat's face.

emberpaw slunk into fourtrees, right behind his mentor. everything was so strange now...lillyfall was three moons younger than him and he was the apprentice...but older at the same time? he threw back his head and whispered to starclan, please help me and lillyfall through this tough situation. he looked back up again, knowing that the best he could do is understand that lillyfall has more knowledge than him, and he would just have to forget age. he turned and smiled at lillyfall, before walking back over to were all the other medicine cats were sitting.
'hullo, im emberpaw...i'm new-,' his voice was cut off when he noticed flutterstar attacking the riverclan deputy. he held his breath as the flesh protecting ghoststar's throat was ripped away by needle sharp claws. he stood up when lillyfall had and ran after her. ''What have you done?'' emberpaw glanced at the sky wondering when starclan would bring the clouds to cover the shining light of the full moon.
the small tom's fur fluffed up when he heard the cheer in adderstar's voice. it was just a hint of it, like she was trying to hide it. what know, starclan, have you left us?! he glanced at lillyfall, fear plastered over his face.

[bg=lightgreen]THIS AINT A SONG FOR THE BROKEN HEARTED
a silent prayer for faith-departed. |
[/sub] xx. I AINT GONNA BE ANOTHER FACE IN THE CROWD the tuxedo's ears flicked as she heard the windclan leader approaching. she watched as she sniffed at his wound and stifled a laugh. she didn't let a smile show but the amusement touched her face as the windclan medicine cat cried at her like she had done something wrong. she flicked her tail back and forth as her whiskers twitched and watched her apprentice who was three moons older trot over and give his mentor a fearful look. then he looked toward the sky. without a chance for any other cat to speak; she looked at them. if starclan didn't want him to lose a life; why did he lose one? with a snicker; she turned away from the other leaders and made her way calmly back to the ivory stone. she let her eyes glare into iceheart as if she was daring her to come forward; to speak or say something. but flutterstar knew that she would not. she didn't have the extra lives to be playing with. one shot and she was a goner.
xx. gonna hear my voice when i shout it out loud. she lifted her voice above the faint murmur of cats that had begun to arise. if someone would so kindly come up here and give the riverclan announcements; i would like to leave. my clan has much to do and i have thinks to prepare. if a riverclan representative does not come up; i will leave. there is no use waiting for thunderclan. if they are not here; then they will not be attending this gathering.
she sat down and looked out at the sea of cats. and with a small snicker; she closed her eyes and flicked her tail back and forth. the blood on her paws was now another cats; and she lifted her paw; licking at it and cleaning her paws; before slowly moving down to the pads of her feet which she gingerly licked at; attempting to make them feel better. she only made her paws ache more. xx. ITS MY LIFE; ITS NOW OR NEVER her emerald flickered as she turned her head. she was soaked to the bone from the pouring rain. but the moon shone on from between the clouds. she snickered to herself. stupid clan cats. there is no starclan. she thought to herself as she carefully removed tufts of fur from her claws. her ears fell flat against her head as she did her work before cleaning her claws. she lifted her eyes to the cats; waiting for someone to start moving toward the ivory stone. the annoyance she felt was beginning to peak again. her tail flicked slowly at her side as she attempted to appear busy with what she was doing but knew she was failing. xx. and i ain't gonna live forever. i just wanna live while i'm alive. she had an urge to fight again; an urge to kill again. but it would have to wait until another night to satisfy itself. she had a plan slowly simmering in her brain. and she would plan it out oh so carefully. she would show riverclan which clan was the weakest and more importantly; who was the strongest. her paws kneed the ivory stone carefully as she watched and waited still. she wasn't going to wait; and if someone didn't come within the next few moments she would leave; without a care or a thought to turn back. but she would be here again... yes she would be here. her tail flicked back and forth as she twitched her nose and cackled to herself atop the stone. she was ready for a fight; for a real fight. a battle that would start and stop and last for many moons. but that wasnt a battle. that was a war.[/blockquote][/blockquote] my heart is like an open highway, like frankie said i did it my way. i just wanna live while i'm alive. it's my life. Adderstar padded over and nudged Iceheart with her sone. She didn't scratch or bite, not yet. The small leader was enacting a little psychological revenge. "You might want to come up with us, hun," she mewed, smirk still plastered on her face. "Flutterstar seems a little impatient and I don't want her killing you before I get the chance." Adderstar practically giggled and bounded back on top of the Ivory Stone, not waiting for the obviously shocked deputy to follow. The she-cat spun around and stepped forward, clearing her throat. "Windclan is doing well. We have a new Medecine cat apprentice, Emberpaw. I am Adderstar, the new leader of WindClan, and I don't take intruders lightly. Neither does my deputy Skyseer. Anyone found trespassing will be sent back to their Medicine Den in peices."
Her announcements over Adderstar sat back on the stone. It had gone well, she had kept her voice relatively commanding, as much as she could for wanting to laugh out loud. ThunderClan hadn't been there to hear that they wouldn't be allowed to 'visit' but they would soon find out if they tried. She hadn't said it, but Adderstar would actually be patrolling borders personally. She may be the new leader, but she wasn't going to pass up her best chance of a scuffle. Though, of course, she would have to go on fewer patrols than before.

Spiritgaze
Spiritgaze let out an annoyed hiss when Flutterstar turn on him. He then felt the sting of her claws across his muzzle and before he knew it, was shoved aside. His face was wretched in pain, but he ignore it. He bunched his shoulders, ready to fight, but then he caught sight of Ghoststar leaping down the Ivory Rock and running to the ShadowClan Leader. Spiritgaze nodded and let his hackles fall, but he was still tense. As much as he didn't want to, he knew that he had to let his Leader fight Flutterstar alone. But then the battle quickly receded and Ghoststar layed in a pool of blood; his body was still.
No! Ghoststar! The silver-and-black tom raced over to his Leader's side. Adderstar was already looking over his body. He saw the look of amusement in her eyes and mewed in a non-caring way. Are all the Leaders going insane!? As he stared at Ghoststar, he couldn't help wondering if the outcome would have been different if he had intervene. He shook his head. Then he heard another voice. It was the WindClan medicine cat, Lilyfall.
"What have you done!?
Exactly what I was thinking. There were many things in his life that Spiritgaze couldn't understand and tried to make sense of. One of the things was how can cats be so cruel and bloodthirsty? He lifted his head and glared at the Shadowclan Leader as she padded back to the Ivory Rock. There were so many things he wanted to say, wanted to shout. But deep down, he knew that now wasn't the right time to do so. Saying anything might make her attack again, maybe even kill. He listened as Flutterstar say if a representative would come forward and give the news. He glanced over at Iceheart. He didn't know if she would be able to do so, and frankly he didn't want her to. With her fork tongue, who knew what would happen next.
Glancing at the still Ghoststar one more time, Spiritgaze stood up and begin to head towards the rock. On his way he stopped near Lilyfall and whispered; "I know you are not our medicine cat, but can you look over Ghoststar?" He didn't know where the medicine cat of his Clan was and Lilyfall was the only one nearby. Luckily medicine cats live outside the code, somewhat.
He soon reached the Ivory Rock and leapt on top of it. He had never before been up here and the view took his breath away. He could just about everything from here. I'll represent RiverClan for tonight. He announced. Though he was nervous, he didn't let that show. He turned to face Adderstar. "On behalf of RiverClan, we welcome you as a Leader. I wish you luck on your path." He decided to go ahead while he was already talking. But he didn't know exactly what to say. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The wound on his muzzle still stung, but at least it wasn't bleeding. He took a step forward.
"RiverClan is doing well in our territory." Besides what just happen tonight He thought, but he chose not to say that. "Prey is running well" He paused, trying to figure out what to say next. He said all of the basic announcements, now he needed to add something else. "Our apprentices are coming along nicely and some will soon be warriors. We also have new kits as well." He would have mention who and what their names were, but at this time he could remember. Then he remember something important.
"Just a few days ago. A Rouge stumbled into our territory. Silvermoon, Spottedpaw, and I were able to lead him into the river and he was swept away by the current. He gazed at the surrounding cats before continuing. I must warn you, I do not believe he is dead. He wasn't an average Rouge either. His teeth and paws were stained with the blood of cats. If any of you run into him, do not take him on lightly." Before finishing, he decided to add; Despite current events, we are not weak. We will not back down for anything." There was a coldness in his voice and he quickly glanced at Flutterstar. But he turned his attention back to the crowd of cats. "That is all" He took a step back and sat down near Adderstar. His tail wrapped around his paws as he waited to see what the ShadowClan Leader had to say for this Gathering.
