I seriously have no idea what's going on ;] The tension in the gathering was really building up. A small brawl had already started, and the windy night had for some reason stopped breezing. The leaders of the clan spat insults, attmempting to the tick the other clan off. Obviously this wouldn't turn out too good. Lightsky twisted her head up, the moon was still clear. So does that mean Starclan is approving of this violent gathering? She was disgusting in how the leader's were acting. With a frown she spoke out to the leaders. This is disgusting. You can't even get along to be nice at a clan gathering? And you call yourselves leaders. She spat, glaring at the four cats on the highrock. ridculous.
Somebody had already lost a life here. Good thing it was a leader who had nine. At last, the delicate she-cat trotted off a bit, to the way back. And hoped this gathering was to a near end.

i've become so numb,
i can't feel you there... &&.can't you see that you're smothering me?; He was like a toy. He felt like he was a rag doll, being carelessly tossed around by a young and irresponsible child. That was what Flutterstar was. An irresponsible child. Her hate for him derived from the one he loved. He got the feeling that all the cats, other than the ones from Riverclan, wanted to see him die. They wanted him to lose a life. But, why? He could understand why the reckless cats of Shadowclan would want him dead, but why Windclan? He had never done anything foul to them. And, he hadn't been leader for long either. Perhaps, being a leader meant death as well as pride. He was disgusted by Flutterstar's disgraceful display. He hadn't laid a claw on her until she decided she would pick on Iceheart.
&&.holding too tightly, afraid to lose control.; Ghoststar remained unmoving. The rain falling down gave him a feeling of relief. He could feel the blood washing away from his fur and he felt as though Starclan was relieving him from his sin of attacking Flutterstar, even though he did it for someone he loved deeply. He suddenly felt the urge to attack the Shadowclan leader again. A new energy surged through his body, empowering him, giving him new strength and new hate that was stronger than the last. He wouldn't give Flutterstar the pleasure of taking one of his lives and walking away unharmed. He felt the need to do some damage on the tuxedo femme. He waited for his moment to strike, planning his attack thoroughly. He would wait for her to descend from the Ivory Stone and then he would strike. Or, he could ditch that plan and attack her now.
&&.'cause everything that you thought i could be,; Ghoststar decided to rise from the blood and water mixture that he was lying on, he pretended like he was weak and could barely stand. When he was on all fours, he glanced up at the four cats positioned on the Ivory Stone. Spite, rage, energy, hate, frustration. It was all coursing through his veins. He unsheathed his claws and kneaded the ground beneath him, imagining it was Flutterstar. He preferred to remain silent. He refused to speak a word til she spoke to him. Oh how bad he wanted to murder this femme. From this point on, just seeing her would enrage him. He wanted her wiped off the face of the earth. Just her being out of the forest was not enough. She had to be gone completely and he wanted to be the one to kill her. He wanted to be the one to shed her blood. Normally, he wasn't this ambitious. But the need for him to feel her scarlet liquid between his pads was almost impossible to heal. He silently stalked forward, plans of her death running through his mind. An evil smile played across his lips as he continued to slowly move forward.
&&.has fallen apart right in front of you.; Ghoststar bunched up his muscles and sprung onto the top of the stone. Once he was up there, standing next to Spiritgaze, he began clawing at the rock, the need to kill was strong in his mind. Flutterstar may be strong, but she couldn't last that long. She wasn't invincible. And, the fact that she didn't believe in Starclan didn't help her in the slightest. He still remained quiet. His icy blue glare was stuck on Flutterstar like a nail would stick to a magnet. He waited impatiently for her to say something she would regret.
&&.caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow...

--skyseer-. -see the sky, see the stars. .all of this could be ours-- blank eyes watched numbly as a leader fell, and rose again. it all happened so casually that her amber gaze kept turning nervously to the sky. she felt as if hell would rain down any minute now. it was wrong. it was right. she couldn't make up her mind anymore, she never could. but now an impending feeling of dread was washing over the deputy, like the rivulets that trickled around her claws; red streams and pools of Iceheart's blood, but mostly Ghoststar's. the lovers blood mixed, and soaking into the ground. how lovely.
skyseer stepped away from the great rock in a daze. she blinked her amber eyes in horror and disgust, like she had just awoken from a terrible dream. she walked toward the medicine cat and her apprentice, Emberpaw; the windclan deputy nodded to them. and paused for a moment, she glanced at adderstar. "i do not support what has happened here", she announced with a raised voice. she was determined and clear. by the way she spoke it was obvious she wasn't afraid to lead. and her words were almost a lie, because somewhere in her mind, she wanted to be the cat strong enough to kill anyone who she disagreed with... but no other being knew what laid in the recesses and shadows of her heart. though it was still wrong. wrong by everything that clan-cats were taught to live by. "and i don't think i'll be sitting still through this any longer. i could be doing something productive, like hunting for my clan. or at least sleeping. i did not come to this gathering to watch two 'respectable', 'mature' leaders feud like fresh warriors."
the deputy exhaled a sigh and shut her mouth, holding the rest inside. amber orbs looked to the sky again. night was coming closer to an end, although the first rays of sun wouldn't be visible for awhile yet. "so if any windclan does not wish to waste their time, they may come with me and attend the dawn patrol after fetching something to eat", she found herself feeling less and less concerned with the other cats and clans as she continued, "adderstar, i'm going back to our territory now". and with that the windclan deputy stood again, and alone the lithe form of the deputy slipped away into the shadows of the remaining darkness and soon disappeared from sight.
(sorry, i wasn't able to create my five posts here. it was pretty difficult to find something to type about because the post was so centered around two or three charecters and barely anyone else was posting.)

[bg=lightgreen]xx. how do you like me now she was not paying attention through either to windclan announcements; nor the riverclan announcements. her eyes were stuck to the riverclan leader. she curled her tails around her paws quietly; watching and waiting for ghoststar to rise. that would be her favorite part of this. it wasn't the kill that excited her. it was the retaliation hits. her nose twitched and she had the recurring urge to sneeze. a single rain drop rolled down her long white whisker and plopped onto the ivory stone. she rose as the last cat to give their announcements; but did not speak right away. a small smirk spread across her face. the cat that spiritgaze was describing reminded her of only one cat. redbird; and he was no ordinary rouge.
xx. now that i'm on my way she lift her head; taking in the looks of cats that she had plastered on their faces. many stared at the ivory stone with wide eyes; too shocked and confused about what had happened to night to understand what was going on upon the ivory stone. her nose flicked as she sneezed; taking her eyes off the only cat she had been watching. when she opened her eyes; he was making his way to the ivory stone. and that was wen the femme began her announcements. shadowclan is doing exceptionally well. we have plenty of new kits and hunting is perfect in the clan. one thing to other clans. she paused; not speaking directly to the riverclan leader as she felt his eyes on her. keep an eye out for kits. we have found kits abandoned in our territory. |
she flicked her nose and with that; she turned and trotted across the ivory stone. this gathering is over. i have no more to say. unless ghoststar would like to add something to his own announcements. xx. you still think i'm crazy she snickered to herself; all ready having leaped off the ivory stone. she was walking across the clearing. come shadowclan; we have nothing important here. she said as her narrowed eyes to adjust in the dark night. she flicked her tail back and forth; having paused to watch the other shadowclan cats walk through the clearing and exit. then she turned, her single emerald cold as ever before. she watched ghoststar with that same cold look. her nose twitched as she watched him with her eyes and flicked her tail back and forth. the silence in her gaze made her wonder if he really wanted to attack her... why of course he did. any cat who didn't attack her after tonight was moderately stupid or extremely forgiving. the majority of cats here were moderately stupid; but no cat here was that forgiving. » Iceheart didn’t really understand what was happening – everything seemed to be in fast forward, instead of normal clan-life speed. Her cerulean gaze was plastered on the leader of ShadowClan, a mere smirk on her face as she waited for retaliation. It was a surprise when Flutterstar decided to jump down from the ivory stone and approach her – and after murmuring a few insults to her loyalty to her mate, unsheathing claws and lashing out, directly at her face. Recoiling slightly, Iceheart felt a sting beneath her eye, feeling four incisions in her cheek. The blood made her sight go red for only a few seconds, before she regained her senses and found that she could only glare at the leader, fur standing on an end. She was about to make a retort about Flutterstar’s loyalty to StarClan, but was quickly downplayed as Ghoststar rammed into Flutterstar.
Iceheart would normally have snapped at Ghoststar – surely, she could take care of herself – but instead, she watched as the cats wrestled with one another. Everything was so fast, and she couldn’t step in on time to slash at Flutterstar. She heard the rumbling of thunder (how ironic – the ThunderClan leader was nowhere to be seen) and knew that StarClan didn’t approve, but that didn’t stop either of the leaders. It wouldn’t have stopped Iceheart either, and so she simply twitched her whiskers, hoping that Ghoststar would come out on top.
In the end, it was the ruthless ShadowClan leader who came out on top, with her bloody mate lying in a pool of blood. As Flutterstar turned away to take care of clan business, she ran up to the tom. Iceheart was not one for affection or even showing anything remotely related to that. But in this instance, she stepped forward, licking against his pelt as he lay there. He was losing a life – she hoped it would not be like the stories of Scourge and Tigerstar, where Tigerstar lost all nine lives of his with a single blow. It was possible – but since Ghoststar believed in StarClan, such acts were not even possible… right?
She was about to take a stand to announce in place of Ghoststar, but instead some measly warrior took her place instead. This made her even more annoyed than the life spilling out of her leader – it was not that cat’s place to stand up there and feel important. With a little snarl under her breath, she flattened her ears and curled her lips to show her irritation.
As Ghoststar jumped on the rock, she quickly followed his own place, shoving the other warrior slightly away (not enough for others to notice – she didn’t want them to think RiverClan was that unstable) and pressed against her mate, glaring after the ugly ShadowClan leader. With a little yowl, she growled, “RiverClan has no more business here. Mark my words, Flutterstar – this fight does not end tonight. I’ve seen it in the stars.” She made a gesture with her own tail, eyes flat as she made a gesture towards the stormy night sky.
In a slightly lower tone, she questioned Ghoststar. “Everything okay?”

emberpaw's eyes became a little less widened, but the orbs were still fastened on the scene in front of him. 'if starclan didn't want him to lose a life; why did he lose one?' the tom wanted to growl, wanted to yowl in the she-cats face that their ancestor's had no power of their cats actions. but he knew his place so instead he just fixed her with a hard, cold gaze. he wanted to leave the gathering now, just to end it.
he didn't even hear adderstar announce his name out to all the cats. he was too filled with the burning rage that was beginning to bubble up inside. it would not be long before he would explode with it. the tom removed his gaze for a second from flutterstar, to watch ghoststar leap up to the ivory stone. he seems to be okay... but then he noticed how the tom's claws were digging into the sun and he looked back at flutterstar.
emberpaw saw her mouth moving, but he refused to listen to the words coming out of her. he turned his attention to the windclan deputy and their eyes locked for moment, just for a moment, and then she hissed, 'i do not support what has happened here. and i don't think i'll be sitting still through this any longer. i could be doing something productive, like hunting for my clan. or at least sleeping. i did not come to this gathering to watch two 'respectable', 'mature' leaders feud like fresh warriors. so if any windclan does not wish to waste their time, they may come with me and attend the dawn patrol after fetching something to eat.'
the tom did not listen anymore after that. he stood up with the she-cat and trotted over to walk behind her. he knew how to hunt, he wasn't stupid. and right now he was angry at his ancestors for not covering up the moon on this eventful night. he glanced back at his mentor, wondering if she would get up and follow too. and with that he slinked away after the deputy. ((im sorry to for not making my three posts. i made two though (: ))[/sup][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Brightstream
The creamy-yellow she-cat looked on in complete as the Shadowclan Leader took down Ghoststar. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. There was not a tale that she could recall that told of a fight at a Gathering, at least after that part of the code came into existence. She glanced at the sky. The clouds were just now rolling in and covering the moon and rain then poured from the sky, as if Starclan were mourning what had just happen.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Lightsky stepping forward and meowing her disapproval. Brightstream only shook her head in sadness. Your their medicine cat, why haven't you checked on your leader? Everything seemed to be turning upside down right in front of her. Shortly after a RiverClan warrior had given the news. But then the WindClan deputy, Skyseer, announced that she couldn't stand it anymore and began to leave. Brightstream was tempted to follow her, she even took a pawstep forward. Then she thought of what her Leader would've thought, seeing one of her warriors leaving like a coward. She glanced at her Leader, only to noticed that Ghoststar had gotten up and as now making his way onto the Ivory Rock. Brightstream sat down, deciding to stay to see what will happen this time.
Spiritgaze
He wasn't sure what the others thought when he had given his report. He hoped he had mention everything his Leader would have. The rain darkening his pelt from white to a dark gray, not like how he normally looks at night. So Starclan has finally shown their anger. Or is it sadness? He sighed and closed his eyes, letting the feeling of water wash away these troubled thoughts.
Then, he felt the presence of another cat next to him. Opening his eyes, he saw Ghoststar, bloody, but alive. He noticed that the Leader was glaring intensely at Flutterstar as she was reporting Shadowclan news. Spiritgaze shook his head. Please, Ghoststar, Spiritgaze strongly thought, Don't fight her again right now. He tried to will it into the Leader, knowing that it won't work that way anyhow. If they fought once more before the night is out, it'd only result into more bloodshed and no one would win.
He then caught sight of Iceheart stalking towards the Ivory Rock. As she leapt, he felt her shoving him away from Ghoststar, but only slightly. All Spiritgaze could do at that moment was smile. He could tell that the Deputy was furious that he announced the news before she had a chance to reach the rock. But he felt that he had to. If Iceheart had been up here, things would have gotten worse once more.
It started to feel crowed to him up here, what with the WinderClan and ShadowClan Leader and three RiverClan cats. With a last remark from Flutterstar, he watched her jumped down and padded to her warriors and begin to leave. He flicked an ear when he heard Iceheart's last words;
Mark my words, Flutterstar – this fight does not end tonight.
Spiritgaze had a feeling that one day, Iceheart's words will be the end of her. It nearly was tonight anyway. He stood and turned to face both Ghoststar and the Deputy. Nodding to each of them, he mewed; "I apologize for taking your place, Ghoststar. If I had known you were going to awaken so soon, I would have stayed where I was." He turn to look at Iceheart. "I know you were the main choice to have taken Ghoststar's place this night. But I thought, after what happen, you wouldn't be strong enough to be able to do so. I am sorry." Despite his apology, he felt that Iceheart won't forgive him too easily. She seemed like the kind of cat who would hold a grudge over anything.
"Ghoststar, if you do not wish me to do so again, just tell me." He nodded once more and padded to the edge of the Ivory Rock. Before leaping down, he glance at where Shadowclan had left. She hasn't been leader for long and it's obvious that she's troubled. Maybe in time she'll become a respectful Leader. The thought was only there for one second before it was replaced with another. But I fear that horrible things will happen before that, if it ever does. He jumped off the rock and padded to where the other Riverclan cats were. He could see fear, shock, and anger in their eyes and he understood perfectly. All he did was nod to them and waited for Ghoststar and Iceheart to join them.

Adderstar looked at her deputy. Skyseer wanted to leave and the leader saw nothing wrong with that. She nodded and saw a few of her cats leave, including Cinderpaw. Personally, the small she-cat wanted to stay behind for a few moments. Flutterstar gave her announcements and Adderstar noted the information about the kits. Then the ShadowClan leader left and the gathering seemed to start to break up. Most of Adderstar's cats seemed ready to leave, feeling edgy underneath the trees, no doubt. Personally though the leader wanted to deliver a message to Iceheart.
"WindClan is leaving," Adderstar yowled, watching as her cats began to move toward their territory. Before leaping off the Ivory Stone however the small she-cat padded up to the RiverClan deputy. To any cat below it would look as though Adderstar was condoling the deputy on the loss of her leader's life. In reality she was growling, so low that no other cat on top of the stone could hear, "Treat me like anything but the leader I am, make a single short joke, and you'll get the same treatment as Ghoststar did. But I won't make it nearly so quick. You won't get the pain of losing a life." With that the WindClan leader hopped nimbly off the stone and followed her warriors and apprentices back to the moors. Until next time, she would be plotting how to deal with her neighbors.

[bg=skyblue]
Ghoststar glared at Flutterstar as she left the gathering clearing. The only reason he let her take a life is because he was tired and honestly didn't feel like battling and his mate was being tormented by the ungrateful Shadowclan leader. But, next time, he would not go easy on her. That was a promise. He also didn't like Adderstar either. She may be rather petite, but she had a sharp tongue and he didn't want the little Windclan femme to talk to his mate at all. He didn't understand why the clans couldn't all get together. He sighed and turned to his mate.
"I'm fine, Iceheart. Let's go home."
He nodded at Spiritgaze, thanking him for making the announcements. He sighed, Shaking his head then glancing up at the sky, tiny droplets of leftover rain stung his eyes.
"Come along, Riverclan. We are going home now."
He was actually glad he was the last clan to leave. He would have gotten many glares and hisses on his way out if he had left first. Was it at all possible for Riverclan to make any allies? Both Windclan and Thunderclan now hated him and Thunderclan was neutral with them. Hopefully, he could manage to make an ally of them. He continued to walk back to Riverclan camp, his head down, his silvery blue orbs watching the ground.
