Camoforest was sitting out in the Oak Forest listening to the birds in the trees. They sounded so beautiful and had always calmed him down when he was mad. He hadn't know why at first, But then later found out they sounded like his mothers voice when she had talked to them to soothe them down as kits. A grin flashed on his face and then was replaced by a glare. He was hungry, and had not eaten all day, plus it was new-leaf the the forest was full of prey. He looked over his shoulder to make sure no one was following him and then began to go on a hunt for food.
He was half way in the forest when there was a cry of alarm from a thrush and a squeal of a rabbit. Rabbit was rare in the territory so he had seized every chance he got. He had loved rabbit since he was a kit in the nursery. Ah. The nursery. Now that had brought back a ot of memories. Some painful. Some worth remembering. Camoforest had missed his beautiful mother. She was a white cat with hazel rings on her tail, and beautiful eyes. He had inhieted his mothers amber eyes. He himself was a brown tabby, after his grandfathers pelt, with massive paws and amber eyes
A memory had came into Camoforest's mind. As he sat there and thought, He let go of the mouse he was about to kill for some dinner. And zoned out and though about the memory, He and his brothers, and his sister, Were tracking their mother and father, and their bestfriend, Skyheart. They had all finshed tracking them when there mother and father had been shocked. He could still hear his mothers bird-like voice in the same tone it has always been. "How did they track us? They only started to play around roughly a couple of days ago!" Camoforest had missed his mother. But he knew she was in a safer place than here.
His mind moved onto a more painful memory, The day his mother was murdered. And his father had run away from him, and his brother and two sisters. Camoforest had watched it all go down. His mother standing near the edge of the cliff with Bengalflight. The peice of foxdung she was. Taking his mothers life out of jealously. Bengalflight had wanted to be Fleetfoot's mate. Their convoerastion was painful to the both of them. "I love you Fleetfoot!" "I know, But I love someone else" "But you should love me." "Bengalpaw I'm sorry. But I love, Lovewhisper. I love you as well. But you are more like a daughter to me. More than anything in the world" His father ad made the right choice on mating with Lovewhisper. Or else he would not be here today.
The battle with Bengalflight and Lovewhisper had somewhat scare'd Camoforest. He thought he would have her forever. But that couldn't happen. Bengalflight was about ready to jump of a cliff when Lovewhisper had found her. She told her to stop but she wouldn't listen to her. Lovewhisper had been tricked, Bengalflight had been pretending to fall and asked for Lovewhisper to help her. His mother was a caring cat, and was easily fooled. Bengalfight knew that. And turned her weakness against her. She had made Lovewhisper hang from the cliff, and then, luckily his brother had come along. Looking for his mother. Because Fleetfoot had wanted to talk to her.
Lovewhisper had seen his brother. She had warned him togo away, because the words shared still rang in his head, "Get off my mother!" "Hedgekit! What are you doing? Go back to the nursery to your aunt!" "You have... kits? I can't kill a kits mother. I grew up without my mother. And I don't want that for my former mentor's mate." Camoforest had hoped Lovewhisper would retreat with him and his brother. But instead. she did the complete oppisite. She had told his brother to get and get their father, and tell him she had found Bengalflight. The other shecat had pleaded not to bring Fleetfoot here. But it aws already to late. With a loud yowl his father came spedding up the rock that they were standing on.
Fleetfoot and Lovewhiper, now back up on the rock. Were talking to Bengalflight trying to get her back to go to the clan. But she has refused. Bengalflight had enough. She walked up to the edge off the cliff and whisperd, loud enough for eveyone to hear, "One more step and it's all over, the pain with be gone, The hole in my heart will be healed." Fleetfoot was becoming awfuly mad at her, and was screaming for her to back away from the cliff. Reucnty she did, But only taking Lovewhisper to the edge with her, "If I can't have Fleetfoot, Than no one can."
Camoforest was watching all this in shock, Just thinking about the memory made him cry a bit. AS he countiuned the meory, He bean where he left off. Fleetfoot trying to seize the both of them from falling off the cliff. But he was to late. Bengalflight had pulled Lovewhisper over with her, Camoforest went yowling up the rock, to stand beside his father, The both of them in shock. Then his father turned and fled for the Loner Lands, Before he left, all he heard from his father was, I'll miss you, Lovewhisper and Bengalflight"
That was the end of the memory. He snapped back to reaity and went to go catch some more prey for the clan. With tears streaming down his face. He ran around the Oak Forest looking for something to catch. Then he sropped, Sniffed the air. And smelled another cat coming, It was from his own clan, So at least he wasn't going to have to attacck them. He turned and looked around. "where are you? You might as well come out."

Sunny, warm, fresh new-leaf. My favorite weather.
The grass was green, lush, vibrant. The wind send a cool breeze along, ruffling the leaves, tousseling pelts.
I left where I was taking a warm, peaceful nap in the forest, to go for a walk. I loved the feeling of the wind in my fur as it blew by.
The warm sun and soft wind reminded me of the sweet, carressing purrs of my mother when she would clean my fur, always fussing over me. Her long, soft yellow tabby fur kept me warm on chill, brisk leaf-bare[thats winter rihgt? xD].
My happy, loving thoughts crushed and broke. Being replaced with hurt and pain. The thought of seeing my mothers blood soaked fur as she lay on the cold winter ground, snow blowing feircfully as she called out in rage. I was just a new apprentice then, but I vowed to live as my mother wanted. She wanted me to grow up to be a great warrior, to have a family of my own.
It took me until a few months ago until it was that someone would tell me who it was who murdered my mother. The dry, heartless beast who would dare to dig their claws through my mothers feather-soft fur...
It was my father. ______. All my life until I learned this had I thought he loved my mother as I did. But I was wrong. He was just a cold-hearted beast. It was then had I realized why all he wanted was for me to grow up and become the best. He was obsessed with power. He knew he had his own path to go, but since the moment I was born he knew I would be his key to success.
His words still are etched in my brain. My mind is focused to power. I dont want to be like my father, cold-blooded killer. I want to be known for good. I want to be--
"Where are you?"
A fellow clan-mates voice interrupted my hate-filled thoughts of my father.
"You may as well come out"
As the words reached me, I just then walked into veiw of the other cat. I recognized him as Camoforest, my deputy.
"Camoforest..." I attempted to say, my voice quieter than I had planned.
A strong breeze blew about, ruffling my fur up uncomfortably. I shook violently against the wind as it settled, my fur now fluffed.
Embarrassed, my skin grew hot under my fur as I attemtped to smooth it.
Eventually I gave up, looking back to Camoforest,
"What brings you out here?" I tilted my head in question, blinking, eyes sparking in the bright sunlight. I then narrowed my eyes, the sun being too bright...

Midnight blue eyes watched as the little mouse scurried about the underbrush. His dark tail flicked back and forth in the air behind him as he very slowley crept forward, it was then a twig he had missed snapped under the weight of his paw. The mouse raised it stupid little head, before turning tail and running off. " Mouse-dung!" He spat. He had a stupid mistake, a mistake only a young apprentice would make. He hadn't been aware of his surroundings. He snorted, he swore he wouldn't make a mistake like that again. He swore a long time ago, on his first hunting patrol with Adderfang. He had lost the squirrel he had been chasing, he had lost it as it ran up the tree, and he, still chasing it ran into the tree. The other warriors and apprentices that were with them laughed, making snide remarks about him being a kitty pet, and how he because of that, he would never make a good hunter.. or a good Clan cat, period. Poor Willowfrost, then Willowpaw, at 11 moons old, just lay there in the dirt, not wanting to face their ridicule. His own mentor, Adderfang, didn't laugh though, he shot a glare at the others, and walked over to his apprentice, and gently grabbed him by his scruff and pulled him to his feet " Are you just going to take that lying down?" He remembered the old toms voice " N-no" Then get up, and try again.. and don't repeat your mistake. Promise to never repeat your mistakes " " I promise And so he didn't, until now, moons later, he made another mistake hunting. So much for promises, not that Adderfang kept all his. " I'll always be here for you Willowpaw..." Adderfang.. the closest the he had ever known to any kind of family.Well where was he now? He was killed by foxes. Who knew a cat like that would meet his end from foxes?
His ears then perked up as he heard voices, and his body tensed and he went to investigate. It was then he paused as he saw some of his Clanmates. The deputy, Camoforest, and a she-cat who had recently became a warrior herself. A dark ear flicked as he kept silent.
