. . . ... SHALLOWDREAM she'll cover the tracks and bury the clues
THE MOON'S JOURNEY through the sky had halted at the very apex of it's reign, sending it's silver rays slanting through the copse's rustling leaves, finding solace only when it bathed the forest floor with it's gleam. a twitching whisker and a flash of paws were the only signs of disturbance within the sort-of-peaceful nighttime forest. what other disturbance could there be? there was no cacophony in the way the crickets sang out their melodies, or in the way the creatures of the night absently went about their business. no, the predatory glance of the felidae about the moonlight forest was the only thing to fear.
THE PENSIVE GAZE of the ashen femme absently glanced off the trembling leaves on the tree, and she easefully dodged a branch as she continued through the forest, her paw swatting against the branch and her small ears swiveling, as if preparing for a confrontation of some sort. a sly smile crept across her catty face, and she was glad for her warrior-ship. if she had made as much as a peep or so much touched a crumpling leaf on the grass, her mentor would have clawed off her ears and used them for paw-warmers.
THE SMALL FELINE finally came to a halt as she came upon a glade, covered with oceanic moonlight. her absent gaze flicked about the place, disinterest etched in her figure. she wondered if anyone else was about this late at night, and wondered if she would have someone else to spend this tireless night with. finding a simple spot in the shade of the trees, she sat, observantly staring into the distance, waiting for some little miracle to grant her another cat to speak with.

SABORPAW xx. on this starlit night; it was obvious that saberpaw didn't know where he was. he had yet to learn how to train; for his mentor did not train him, and he only went out of camp on his own free whim. with a faint sigh as the brute stopped in his tracks; he sat down. he hated not training, because he wanted to be something in his clan; not just...there. with a sigh; she flicked her ears and looked toward the shadows of the night. nothing escaped their consuming darkness. he had the silent paws to survive in the forest at night; as well as the natural know-how. but other than that; he had had nothing to train him. he flicked his ears backwards and spun around; careful not to make nose. with a low growl slipping from his jaws, he rose again. who is there?
he glared into the shadows that let no light escape. he became annoyed with this concept; but could do nothing for it or against it. a silent pawstep carried the brute forward effortlessly. he watched quickly as he sighed and twitched his long black whiskers. something was driving him to act like this; but it wasn't loyalty to his clan... maybe it had something to do with ferretpaw.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
