xx. his beautiful eyes flickered as he made his lonely way through the light undergrowth that covered this region of the Riverclan territory. no one had told the apprentice much about his family. where he was from, when he had arrived, and who were his parents? but he had become more accustomed to assume that they weren't here in the clan. that he had been abandoned. and he had grown farther away from the idea of a clan. he didn't like the togetherness that the other cats shared without him. with a faint sigh, he wandered aimlessly. his small black paws touching the forest floor as his long limbs helped him glide effortlessly over the vegetation that had become his worst enemy.
xx. he hated this clan, hated the cats in it. he hated the cats in other clans. he hated everything. but he didn't know why. it was probably the lonely feelings that he was suffering from. no one had offered to help, and no one ever would. he figured that was the easiest way to assume it. with a faint sigh, he lowered himself into the vegetation and stalked lazily throughout the grass. his single white toe clashed against his black pelt, but he ignored it well. i'll always be like this. hopelessly alone. he grumbled and cursed silently before touching his nose to his paws. he stopped and laid down, his head lowering to his paws and he laid there in the tall grass. completely alone. that was where he thought he should be.[/blockquote]

Nightpaw stumbled through the forest, jumping at every signal noise she heard and looking behind her back every few seconds. She hated being outside of camp by herself, but her mentor sent her out here on a task to catch at least one piece of land prey. She kept looking over her shoulder, expecting a certain cat to appear from the undergrowth and attack her, though so far hasn't. 'Just find a mouse or something and get out of here!' The words repeated through her mind.
Nightpaw then saw a squirrel just ahead of her on a log. Crouching down, she quickly, yet silently made her way closer to the log. Luckily the squirrel hadn't noticed her. She then leap into the air. But she misjudge her jump distance, for she on the log just several mouse-length away from the furry creature. The squirrel immediately ran away. Sighing, Nightpaw stared at the landscape around her, hoping to find some other prey. A moving black shape caught her eye. Panic began to rise in her as she tried to get a better look at who it was. The black shape stopped moving and layed down, making it harder for her to see. As she lean further out to get a better look, her paw slipped off the log, and with a startled yelp, fell off the log and rolled into the undergrowth. When she came to a halt, she saw the black feline tom several lengths away and recognized him as Spiderpaw.
"Oh, Spiderpaw, hi!" She mewed, sighing in relief. The black-and-white she-cat stood up and shook herself. "Um, sorry for dropping in on you like that." She laughed a little, starting to feel embarrass. She then heard the bushes rustling right behind her. Panicking, she raced over to Spiderpaw and crouched behind him. Peering around, she saw that it was just a mouse scuttling through the bushes.
She let out a deep sigh. She then realize who she was crouching next to and started quickly backing away. "I'm sorry"! Nightpaw mewed. She sat down and stared at her white paws. "It's just...I..thought it was..something else..." She knew this cat liked to be alone, and didn't like to be with others. Though right now, she didn't want to be alone out here. And wanted to stay with the black tom for as long as possible.

xx. the bluish gray eyes flickered as he turned to view the forest. either a new rouge had wandered into the land and had no idea how to survive, or a kit had gotten out of camp and decided to take a shot at hunting which was failing.
xx. whoever it was, was waking up every piece of prey in the forest. a growl arose from his throat as his black frame rose up and turned. his muscles rolled as he started toward the brush but stopped as a thump sounded through the forest. shortly after a squirrel came barreling out of the bramble. he lunged, grabbing the furry creature and snapping it's neck when it struggled.
xx. his cold eyes flickered as he dropped the prey and scratched dirt over it. a frustrated growl arose as the clatter continued. but then he heard a voice recognize him. he cursed as he watched the apprentice emerge from the vegetation. he glared at her as she attempted to seem happy about seeing him.
xx. so you're the one who has been waking up the whole forest?! I thought a blind cat was stumbling through or a kit had got out of camp. are you really that pathetic?!
he snapped toward her, his eyes flaring as he stared her down. he was not happy about being interrupted in his quiet time out here. with a growl, he uncovered the dead squirrel and shoved it toward her with a growl. xx. if you are going to come out here, at least hunt while you are out here, instead of costing the clan it's prey. he watched as the femme flinched away from the mouse that scampered out of the undergrowth and he quickly lunged at it. he had caught it as well, the creature wriggling in his paws and he growled and snapped it's neck as well. xx. his eyes flared as he turned away from her. i know you were scared of it or you wouldn't have missed two bits of prey in a row. he spat toward her from over his shoulder. he wasn't looking for excuses as to why she had missed her second bit of prey, he just knew it was completely pathetic.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
