[cs=1][bg=limegreen] when push comes to shove. Flutterstar |
you taste what your made of. xx. you might bend till you break. you would have never been able to guess that it was morning. the sun was obscured by the clouds above and the rain that had continued form the previous night. she had angered starclan; but felt no need to bring it up and didn't exactly care that she had.
the dirt beneath her feet was wet and slippery; causing her great annoyance as she trot across the muddy clearing. it was unbearable on her feet as they had been sliced to ribbons only the night before when she had skid on the ivory stone. but she walked gingerly and ignored the pain as she flicked her tail back and forth. the day wouldn't begin until the sun shown. well the sun would not be out for many days. starclan was punishing this tuxedo. the only problem was that she didn't care.
xx. cause it's all you can take. the storm had continued from last light. she had deserved it to rain; but now her thoughts were distracted to what had happened. she remembered the insults flung at her at the gathering by the riverclan deputy... but she couldn't quite remember what had made her do it. her nose twitched as she remembered now. she had become annoyed with riverclan last night. but she still wasn't sure what had driven her to take the leaders first life. maybe it was simply blood lust; but maybe it was something more? she had been more miserable than ever without patchfur at her side. she hadn't seen him in a few days; but she simply assumed he was busy with the clan.
she wished she wasn't so lonely without him. but now; she had more problems to worry about and more things to plan for. her nose twitched and her whiskers flicked as her emerald scanned across the ground beneath her. there were only a few things she could do... and more importantly there were more import things to do. with a flick of her long black tail; she sat back on her haunches. her emerald flickered as she turned her gaze toward the forest in the distance. her eye fliced as an idea trickled through her mind. she snickeered at the thought.
xx. on your knees you look up. the best idea she had was to take out riverclan before it got too out of hand. before the clan thought they would get away with doing what they liked whenever they liked. her nose twitched again as she kneed the ground with her paws and lowered her body to the ground; stretching her muscles as she did. her claws dug into the ground. she would attack riverclan and take over. a smirk touched her face. she couldn't wait to take over the forest. her lips spread into a smile and she flicked her ear. she was ready to control it all.
xx. decide you've had enough. but how would it work? there was still thunderclan... stupid thunderclan always stood in her way. but not this time. if they tried to intervene; she would take them over and remove their high positions. The cats would be helpless. With a snicker; she flicked her tail back and forth; emeralds bright. She was okay with killing every cat; and she wouldn't feel all that bad if she did. She wanted nothing to do with any of the other clans... why she hardly wanted shadowclan anymore; but now that this opportunity had opened up; she was completely satisfied with her title and her position.
xx. then you stand. her eyes flicked as she giggled and twitched her nose once more. that was the way this would work. this would be the way she would control it. this was her choice and this was her job. the monster had been unleashed last night; and now it was out for good and to stay.

Patchfur was striding through the forest, his brown and white paws thudding the ground with his largeness. With a couple cobwebs wrapped around his tail, he started slowing his pace down a bit as he neared the WindClan border. The tom's gaze lifted up into the muggy sky. He felt quite bad that he hadn't seen his love for this long, but his scent filled his nose. When he reached the muddy grounds of the clearing, the mist clung to his fur uncomfortably. He blinked as Flutterstar came into sight. He padded forward, ears perked. At first he was speechless and just admired her beauty, her beautiful fur, her beautiful eye. A quiet purr erupted from his throat, filling his heart with warmth. He gently and slowly rasped his tongue over her ear, the softness soothing him. He moved back, blinking of love. "What happened at the gathering?" He meowed quietly, voice protecting and strong. Settling down, his tail wrapped around his paws as he patiently waited for an answer.

[bg=lightgreen]xx. you make me wonder if i can go right. her long whiskers twitched and water droplets fell; landing on the muddy ground of the floor. her pink nose twitched as she closed her emerald. her muscles became less tense as his scent waft around her. she slowly walked over to him; sitting at his side. her black tail curled against his as she nosed his shoulder and smiled softly. it was... hell on earth. she said softly. her emerald sparkled as a droplet of water flicked toward him. she gave him an apologetic look. the new riverclan deputy was disrespectful to me; as well as the new windclan leader. and for once; i am rather proud of windclan. they aren't as scared as they once were. |
a genuine smile spread across her face as she twitched her nose. i attacked ghoststar afterward. i dont want riverclan in this forest. they aren't respectful and are full of what they think is pride. but they are too scared to fight for their own.[/blockquote]

His expression stayed calm as his gaze kept on the leader. "Well surely you could have resulted to something a little less violent?" He had fire in his gaze for a second. "RiverClan should be showing respect, but even just trying to do something as waiting until the full mood had passed to attack them may have just been a bit better." He closed his eyes. "Our ancestors are angry at us, Flutterstar. We need to be careful."
A small chuckle escaped him. "But I probably would have wanted to attack them too, I've never had quite a liking for RiverClan." He looked at his paws, but his eyes appeared to be looking deeper. Into something impossible for other cats to see; to even lay eyes on.

[bg=lightgreen]xx. you wont understand. the tuxedo femme rose to her paws; walking gingerly as she paced across the clearing. she was lost in her thoughts; only willed to talk to patchfur about her decisions that she had to make. she looked at him with her emerald; defenses finally down and the side that no one ever saw was spread through the clearing. she just wanted to be with him; to know how far they would go and when they would be able to make it on their own. her eyes flashed as she lowered her gaze. how will this ever work. not just us; i mean everything. she sat down a few fox-lengths away as her bright green orb flashed and she curled her tail around her paws. she hunched forward so her tail was near her face and tear filled eyes looked upon him.
xx. the only thing i want after the gathering last night is ghoststar dead. she said softly as she looked upon him; hoping he could give her an answer. i want the job done and over with; to put riverclan back in their place.

her tail swept back and forth across the muddy ground. that wasn't the main thing she wanted to know; but the rest wasn't important right now. the clan came first. her black ears fell against her head as she looked at the mud again; feeling alone.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

He looked down on her, not much emotion turning to his eyes. He had to think through these words very carefully. Once she heard them, she would believe them. He felt as if StarClan were talking to him and granting him the words, sucking him into a black hole full of wiseness. He re-played the words a thousand times in his head, letting them slip through his toes all the way to the feathery tip of his tail. Finally, the words were spoke to Flutter. They came out with such delicacy, such intensity, that he was afraid that the words would in fact shatter like glass all over the mud. "We all want things. But we all must walk our own paths and see where they take us, whether it is good or whether it is bad. Your life is your decision."

[bg=lightgreen]it took a few moments for flutterstar to answer; her emerald was distracted; hidden from the world. her nose twitched as her whisker flicked away a rain drop that was rolling down her whisker. her tail flicked back and forth as she slowly opened her eye again; and she lifted her head from her paws. she blinked repeatedly; attempting to make her hallucination go away. instead of it being a cat she could not recognize; it was ghoststar lying in the clearing; blood flowing from his wounds and death strong in the air. but she closed her eye tightly and opened it again; it was gone. her emerald faded and she looked toward patchfur. if he knew what she saw; he would think she was mad; that she was sure of.
she sighed softly and slowly rose to her paws; walking over toward him and once again wincing as she attempted to sit. she raised her paw; licking the pad; making sure patchfur didnt see how sliced up it was and how raw it was. all of her pads were like that. she had slid across the ivory stone the previous night and had yet to accept medical attention for it. one pad was red and more sore than the others. she was fairly sure it was infected; but she couldn't tell him that. she knew she couldn't tell him that. he would surely get mad at her for not coming to see him right away when she got home. |
