Freezefang The white she cat sat at the river's edge. She was looking out over to the Thunderclan territory, thinking about that orange cat she had met at the gathering. Who was that cat? How did she feel like she knew her? Icefang sighed and looked upwards. "Great Starclan, please give me some answers!" Icefang sighed. Maybe she should ask the medicene cat if she could visit the moonpool. But she wasn't sure if she should tell the medicene cat what was going on. She could sneak off, but then that would anger Ghoststar. Freezefang didn't want to do that. Freezefang batted the water angrily. She was confused, and wished that she could figure it out already.

Spiritgaze slowly moved his way through the undergrowth. His head lowered so that he only saw his paws and the ground beneath them. The white-and black striped tom was heading towards the river, actually he wasn't going there by thought, his paws were just dragging him there. He didn't care where he was going at this moment, he just needed to get away from the busyness of Clan life for a while. He need to think about recent events in peace.
He raised his head and saw the river nearby. As he approach the river's edge, he sat down and close his eyes; something he tends to do when he falls into deep thought. It's hard to believe what has happened He began to think, More and more cats seem to no longer believe in StarClan or listen to the warrior code. Even the Leaders are doubting them. His claws sank into the wet sand as he thought of Flutterstar and what had happen at the recent Gathering. It had only been a couple of days since it happen and the patrols have increased greatly. But he feared that it may not be enough. He sighed at all of this.
Then he felt that he wasn't alone. Opening his eyes, he turned and saw a beautiful white she-cat sitting a few lengths away. It didn't take long for him to recognized her as Freezefang. He blinked in surprise. "Oh, hello Freezefang. Forgive me, I didn't see you there." The last bit was so obvious, he probably didn't even had to mention it, especially since he has no idea if she was here before or after he arrived.
He noticed that the white she-cat kept looking over across the river to the ThunderClan side. He peered in the direction as well, but he couldn't see much. "What's wrong? Is ThunderClan doing something?" His voice was of concern and urgency. With the threat of ShadowClan escalating, they couldn't afford trouble from ThunderClan. Despite their reputation of being soft, ThunderClan has attacked on the border on more than one occasion.

Freezefang kept her icy blue gaze fixedly on the river's surface. It was slightly windy today, green leaf was approaching. Her claws dug into the earth in anger. Her white pelt was slightly ruffled from the breeze, and partly because she was a little annoyed. Why wasn't starclan doing anything to help her figure this stuff out. She glanced up at the sky, the sun was shining brightly. She could feel the warmth of the sunlight tickle her nose, making it twitch. Her ears moved ever so slightly at the sound of the rushing water. She could feel the spray of the water on her paws, and the wet ground as it was constantly soaked by the water. Could they do nothing? Of course they couldn't, they're spirits, they can only "guide us" as the medicene cats put it. Freezefang's lip curled up at that. Yeah, they floated in the night sky like powerful cats, which they kind of were. Of course all she ever saw was twinkling lights in the sky. Starclan couldn't literally be stars, otherwise how could they visit cats in dreams? The medicene cat would know, but Freezefang didn't want to ask. Was starclan not as powerful as she thought they were. If they could only guide the cats of the forest, did that mean they weren't able to actual come down and help us in a physical form? It was confusing to Freezefang. Freezefang's ears turned back at the sound of the he-cat's approach. She felt slight vibrations in the ground as the cat neared her. She didn't look back at him. He was just probably getting some water. Freezefang caught the cat's scent, it was that of Thunderclan. It was Spiritgaze. He was an okay cat, Freezefang didn't know him all that well. She raised her head at the cat's voice. "What's wrong, is thunderclan doing something?" The cat asked her. "No,"Freezefang replied. "It's nothing. I'm just being alert. I normally do that when I'm alone." It was true. Because of the fact that her parents had died when she was a kit, she didn't trust easily. She always wanted to stay alert. She trusted no one but herself, of course her clanmates too, but mostly herself. She looked at the cat, blue eyes curious. What would he say to that? Freezefang was half hoping he would question further, and also half hoping that he wouldn't. That was confusing too.

Spiritgaze nodded. "That's good. Ever since what has happen, we need everyone to be on alert, for anything." He stared off over the river and into ThunderClan's territory. Since they weren't at the recent Gathering, he assume that they had no idea what has happen. He glanced back at the white she-cat. There seem to be another reason why she was here.
"Forgive me for asking, but are you searching for something?" Normally, Spiritgaze wouldn't ask such a personal question. But he was curious about why Freezefang was here by herself and not hunting or patrolling. Then again, he was doing neither, but most of the Clan knew that he liked to come down here to think. Besides, the look in her eyes seemed to be looking for something, or someone.

Freezefang glanced at Spiritgaze. Could she trust this cat? Would he tell on her if she told him what was going on? She considered this for a moment, looking down at the ground. "Two gatherings ago, I met a thunderclan cat," She began. Her name was Flameclaw. I felt like I knew her, and I knew she felt the same way. We didn't say anything other then just introducing ourselves. Then for some reason I remembered being bathed when I was a kit, and there was a cat watching me. I'm not sure what happened, but that's been bothering me for a while now." She looked at Spiritgaze, her blue eyes nervous. What would he say to that? Would he be mad at her? Oh Starclan, she thought, what have I done now?

Spiritgaze closed his eyes as he listened to the white she-cat's story. He didn't know what to say at first, so he thought about her words for a minute. The kit memory reminded him of his first time playing in the water as a kit. Splashing around in a small puddle with his brother and sister watching him like he was crazy... He opened his eyes and glanced at the trees on the other side of the river. Could it be... He shook his head at the thought. There was no way it could. The Clan would have known about it.
"Sounds like an old sibling or parent memory." He finally replied, deciding to tell her what one of the things he thought of. "Their sometimes triggered when looking at someone who's...related to you, or even someone you met long ago. IT happens alot when I look at my sister. Then again, I just think about the past alot." He shrugged, then asked; "Are you sure you haven't met this cat anywhere else?"
But before waiting for a reply he sighed, then mewed; "In all honesty, I don't really know what to do to help. If you want advice, perhaps you could speak to Lightsky. Or even.." He glanced at Thunderclan's side of the river once more. "Our border lies somewhere on the other side of the river. If you want, wait there and speak to the cat. Then decide on what to do." He smiled at her, his yellow eyes gleaming. "If you don't want me to speak of this to anyone, I won't. Like I said, this is really your matter to deal with. I will help you in anyway, if you want."
